They could have purchased KTM engines. They used to run YZ250F engines in their bikes before they developed their own engine

Sherco has never used Yamaha engines. You are confused.
He probably thought Scorpa. For the longest time I had the 2 companies confused.
Scorpa had Yamaha engines, but to add to the confusion they now use Sherco engines.

Scorpa and Sherco belongs to the same owner, Mr Marc Tessier.

What did you think about it? I have seen some good reviews from the european press.

I love it. Slim, light, very easy to handle but still stable on the fast trails, with a very good engine package. One of the very best enduro bike on the market. Some customers reported reliability problems, but Sherco said they sorted them out this year so it should be all good. The 2013 engine is far better than the 2012. If i had to buy an off-road bike, i would consider this one.

Good to hear. The trials bike have been imported into the US but the enduro bikes are few and far between. I'm looking forward to getting them.
