Some of the bikes I had in the 70's that were my favorites..
Favorite photo of me from that era. A photographer named Jack Reichert traveled to most of the D16 and D17 races (Wisconsin & Illinois), and every week or two you would get a sample color photo he took of you in the mail X'd out in ink.. This was one of the few I bought from him.. Wish now I had bought more over the years.
The Shop
Got my 1st trophy that day.
Next time I am in Ohio (probably early December) will take a picture of it. It is me at 17 riding a one handed wheelie flashing the peace sign in our beloved gravel pit. I probably couldn't ride a one handed wheelie now if my life depended on it.
Practicing on the Saddleback "highschool" track RM250A.
Saddleback "canyon" jump RM250A - semi air-wheelie w/ goggles around my arm after a fall
Saddleback YZ250E - Jofa flappin and goggles off also after a fall?
Pit Row

A few shots of me at Saddleback's main track. The last one was at the track in back of the main track. That's Tim Lunde behind me and Rick Maki in blue and white behind Lunde. I won the XR 80 in a CMC series in 1978.
My dad and me with the kidney belt. Shelbyville IL. 77-78
