Was that your bike? If so glad you got it back, even happier that idiot got caught. Did he take the graphics off or leave it exactly the same as it was stolen?
would love to see a video of this instead of picture slideshow lol guessing the dude in first picture holding bike got arrested? he drop the bike and run?
hahaha! Great stuff.
I had a very expensive Rickenbacker guitar stolen from me.
Found it being sold on eBay one state away months later.

Lesson is: If you have anything stolen from you, get on Craigslist and eBay pronto. You will llikely find it there.
Why is the guy in blue (first picture) holding a GoPro, and was it turned on?
Ya post up the video! Probably had to give it to the cops right then and didn't get a chance to copy it before they took it for evidence. Is that considered grand theft and do you think this scum will do time?

I'm pretty sure it's a second degree felony in Jersey because the stolen item exceeds the amount of $500.00, but is less than $75,000.00.Jersey's sentencing guide lines show 5-10 years on that charge if convicted. http://www.stephenagravattesq.com/2c-sentencing-guidelines.html
However,if it's his first offense they could reduce it and with time served he could possibly do under 2 years....just depends.
But that is either him admitting he personally stole it or him losing at trial and getting convicted of the charge.
However,it's not easy to get a conviction on that charge under most circumstances where they get caught selling it.
Here is why....
Now,if he claims he didn't steal it and they have no proof that he did....then it would be possession of stolen property.
Far easier for the prosecution to prove,it's a no brainer.
They would probably offer that as a lesser charge and he would take a felony plea of possession of stolen property and be out within 9 months to a year, just depends on the deal and timed served nonsense.
That is how a lot of stolen motorcycle/vehicle cases turn out. It's due to the fact that if they weren't caught stealing it red handed and there is no evidence or witnesses that they took it,they have a hard time getting a conviction.Normally they say they bought it or got it from some stranger,it's really their only defense.
But either way he is screwed and should do some time.
What is the guys name that got arrested?
So we can follow the case and see how it turns out.
Gonna take a guess on this one.. With the shot of the bike laying on its side, the theif dropped the bike and ran. Question is, did the police catch him?
gee I wonder if that is the same seller who sold the mint, low hour (my words after looking at pics, not his) 07 CRF450R for $1000 or any reasonable offer on charlotte craigslist a few days ago.
craigslist is a cesspool, a free and open exchange of stolen goods, 24/7
More bikes got lifted from the Budds Creek area recently.
Facebook.
The wheelie boyz aren't stealing them. But they are enabling it, because they are the ones buying them for 500 bucks a pop. The ones stealing them, are the ones who are Facebook friends with all the riders at Budds Creek. your GPS location is on your profile, and the pictures of all your bikes are on your page.
It's so bad that Jon Beasley flat out said over the loudspeaker before last weekends race, "there is a connection between this track, and all the stolen bikes in Baltimore."
maybe he has a job. you know. the kind of job where hes workin. not on the interweb.
Just enough time between the night shift at the machine shop and the morning shift at the dairy factory to post the pictures but not enough to provide any explanation.
Have the Wheelie Boyz been linked to larceny or is this just hatemongering?
For those who don't know; subsequent good faith purchasers of stolen goods have a perfectly good claim to the property [edit] except against the true owner in a conversion action.
