He wasn't. That's the problem. Check the Dumbgeon for the hidden threads. It's a dumpster fire.

He went to the Varner school of business, apparently.

ah so you guys are going to piss on ML because of his dealing (or not) with WCL rather than the amazing work he did to get a team up and running, and helping riders get noticed... gotcha

So it's okay to take people's money, not ship products for months at a time just as long as you help out some pro riders... gotcha.

When you put it that way he does sound mike Varner. Take money from those out of state and service your local bros

".......future is never guaranteed "

I really hope they stick around. ML is a good dude, and the team has come such a long way despite starting during a global pandemic.

Hope ML is keeping the team going. I like the FXR bike, looks good and clearly it's competitive.

So maybe the money that hard working people spent with his company went into funding his team. I bet you are the type that gets mad for someone protesting a cheater. Lol

Actually I had no idea about the WCL history until I check the threads in Dumbgeon just now, sorry I didnt realise I needed to check every forum link before posting here.

Those few engine hangers wouldn't be enough cash to have a few jersey's printed...

I think ML more than accomplished the goals he set back when he started, and made it through a pandemic to boot. I say well done.

ML coming back here? That's going to go over well....
Yeah, because there are so many journalist, photographer, media experts that have managed top 10 riders..

Listen, what he accomplished with that team is incredible and should be commended. Running a team, and keeping it going, is so difficult. The team folding shouldn't be assumed to be for the same reasons as the WCL debacle, when Geico and other teams have also folded.
What I'm saying is his reputation on these boards has taken a MASSIVE hit. And not just from hearsay; he's posted plenty and not followed through.
I hope it goes well. I really do.

GuyB asked him directly if he was getting attention from other teams, not manufacturers, teams. To which he replied, I'm staying where I'm at, literally. How could you come to the conclusion he's staying on a Honda and not the team he's currently on?? He's not a part of Team HRC, he's on FXR/Chaparral Honda.

Checkers guys, not chess.
Tell me again how you play checkers ??? Lmao

Well this got the jump on Guyb’s plan to wait until the end of the season. Ooops. Also indicative of how the WCL threads ended up in the dumbgeon.

Seriously, after their cougar magnet talk Cody directly said he’s staying with the team and Honda would like him to race the 250 class to build up, and Cody briefly expanded on that.

What more of a source could be better for a rider’s season plan than the rider himself?

You aren’t alone, grape 😂
Who's Cody? Cody Cooper making a comeback? Coty

No one expects you to check every forum link before posting but you probably should spout off blindly defending a guy if you don't have all the facts

Vital is quick to write off actual journalists in favor of their own opinions. Love him or hate him, Matthes and/or Racer X doesn’t make shit up for clicks.

Make up your mind. Grinning

The money at Vital Mav! You guys must be making some bank, ML512 walking away from the Pro racing circuit and all... Engine hangers are tiddly winks compared to Vital money. I wonder where Guy is going to spend his retirement dough?

I don't work for Vital and even if I did, their financials don't regard me. I'm sure they're doing just fine.

As for GuyB, I hope he gets to walk away with stacks full of cash.

It would be easier to win a pro MX championship than run a successful professional MX race team IMO

Define “successful”. Race teams don’t turn a profit. They are either an advertisement vehicle/expense write off for manufacturers or a rich person’s tax dump.
