I agree, these latest Service Honda AF conversion are the cleanest and best looking of the bunch.

Same here. I bought a '97 CR 125 last October (project bike I've yet to really start yet Blush ) and when it's all done I might be going the sans graphics & numbers (unless I'm racing) look as well.

Scalvini, Motoman is the US importer. You used to be able to get them without the tag on the pipe, not sure if that's still available. They work great on some bikes.

Thanks Cam. Plan is to get my motor yarded and sent on down to Eric Gorr here in a couple months for my little 125 project I'll have going on. Picked up a " logging road special " 2005 KX 125 a couple days ago. Oh boy.....she needs some major TLC. But I got her for a descent price and it'll be a fun little project bringing her back to all her glory!

Awesome, start a build thread in the Race Shop forum, it's great watching these things develop even if it takes a long time. Let's see some before pics!

I'd consider shopping around for engine builders, you've got some great selections out there such as Tom Morgan, Terry Varner, Chad Watts, etc. I've never used Eric Gorr, heard some great reviews and his prices are good but also enough horror stories that I'd be hesitant to take that gamble.

Nope they stopped in 2008 (2007 for usa) and then in 2011 or 2012 they make some bikes alvaible for european dealers like Valenti Racing, who did an enduro version of the 125 Rm.
I don't know much more of that story.
For the future, i guess that Kawasaki could do an update of their 125 (like they did this year for the 85) but i think Suzuki are dedicated 100% to the new 2015 RMZ to come.
Yamaha is the last japanese to still make 2 strokes, are they gonna update them? that's the big question!

Wow, beautiful! I think the ride bike is nicer than the show bike, but they're both cool as hell. I bet that bike is more than competitive with the updates that you've done to it.
