I had a pretty trick SL70 and wanted this, luckily my dad didn't listen to what I wanted and my next bike was a 74 MX100

Not really an "oddball" but i have a soft spot in my heart for the Hodaka Dirt Squirt. Way back in the day my mom rode one, and ill never forget one Xmas we surprised her and tricked it out w/ a pair of S&W's, a white plastic tank and front / rear Preston Petty fenders and that literally transformed it into a pretty cool bike. MotoMom ruled!

Those family trips camping/riding every weekend growing up were some of the best days of our lives.

My pop was a tried and true Husky dude down to the core! His last one was a 390 Auto (pictured below w/ the lovely Mrs Millsaps out of her pops collection) I dont recall the exact year it was? but by this time the family weekend trips were far and few between as we started getting serious racing, so the weekend camping/riding turned into trips to the races, also "good times!"

NOOB, now this is the kinda thread that just might turn your rep around, im proud of ya dude! (and never would i thought i'd be saying this) Keep it up! I knew there was some true "moto" in ya behind all the fanboy bullshit. I like this NOOB way better, and im sure many here will agree.

I should of known...this thread was simply a ruse, a distraction in attempt to get on our good graces so you could continue with your ultimate fantardism.

As i was submitting the above reply you just couldnt resist could you? How unfortunate. Dry

Come on! Scottie, Yes! I like Ryan Villopoto. There's a Thread implying RV looks like a Leprechaun and that doesn't bother you, but I put up a coo picture of Ryan Villopoto and his KXF450 and asking a simple question if he can make it 4 in a Row and you get Mad! at me and call me a FanTard. I'm really as Harmless as a Pink Bunny, but a little Pre Race Banter to get everyone psyched up for the race isn't going to hurt is it. Everyone's going to be watching and rooting to see someone beat RV and think how happy they'll be when he gets beat. You have to admit, he is amazing to watch, but the others are as wellSmile

Funny! Roczen is my favorite 250f rider also, We have something in common. I will try to be better, it's a rough crowd in here though and sometimes I get defensive. You're an F1 Fan, I went to Indy from 2000 to 2005 to watch F1 and then went to Montreal in 2011. I'm a BIG! Fan and use to root for Mclaren and Mika Hakkinen the Flying Finn. I enjoyed seeing Kimi winning last weekend, that was un-expectedSmile

I think Gilera was a brand started by the Villopoto family. The Villopotos sold the name and rights to the Japanese, and the brand was renamed several times from Gilopoto, to Gilasaki, and finally to the brand we know today as Kawasaki.

My first bike, my uncle gave it to me. It had been sitting for almost 20 years.

Didn't someone make a huge two stroke a few years back? Like 700cc, or something. ATK maybe?

i mita raced cannondales for quite some time, loved them and after a month of dialing them in they were as good as anything else, and they turned better than any bike ive ridden to date, ask digger 29, he rode one they were good if the owner of the company didnt have an ego the size of kansas they would be more popular than ktms rite now

Here's the ATK - think this is one of the few bikes they still offer.
