Bulmer looks a bit like Russell Crowe with that roguish beard!

I think they did nice work on making a track over there on flat ground. Traditionalists won't like it, as Bulmer said, but it is something different and interesting, and the riders seem to really be enjoying the journey so far.

Hey, theres nothing wrong with approving glance now and then Smile

Speaking of the injury (which I realise you were really looking at) it doesn't seem to be slowing him down too much eh!?

Im a little bummed on these, sure miss the white bikes they rode last year! and by the sounds of it, these are a lot more production based machines, more like our bikes.

From MXA: Gone is the full-on Honda works bike from last year (which is probably a good thing because the Honda team never made a podium with its exotic works machinery). In its place is a new GP bike based on the 2013 production bike. The factory Honda CRF450R, which will be raced by Evgeny Bobryshev and Max Nagl.

The Honda World Motocross team's race machine, which is developed by Honda's R&D staff in Japan alongside the team, has the benefit of full factory support from Showa suspension. This year the suspension manufacturer has provided Bobryshev and Nagl with the ultra-special Separate Function Fork Triple Air Chamber (SFF Air TAC), with development from Showa being available to the team throughout the season. In addition to that, Dunlop tires provide the riders with the best traction possible on different terrains with its range of quality products.

it's very similar to Franciacorta in the sense that the track is above the photogs and everyone in the infield, but obviously there is no wall of fans around the outside, and i doubt there ever will be...

it is a "cool" place though, from the city of Doha, to the track... and all the riders are happy to be here riding it

Agree.
The previous Honda's looked awesome in white.
The exhaust pipe runs the stock way around the engine now too.
Bit of a bummer.

some good racing, the track is kinda one-lined making it hard for riders to pass anyone slower in front, but its keeping it tight

AC hasn't missed a step and Herlings crashed on the first turn... Febvre was running second but had to pull off in mx2 after his engine broke

Romain Febvre who was second and challenging Teillet (and had the fastest lap of the qualy) had to give up cause of mechanical problems. Keep an eye on him, dude is improving fast...

Here is a video for those who doesn't know him. Sorry, couldn't find a translated version...

Why does Youthstream always "overwater" the track? It ruins everything! And don't say it's because of the wheater because during the outdoor season (AMA) it's much warmer then during the GPs.
