Say your local track has a true triple (three jumps) and over time the last one gets worn down until it has a flat top or if its built with a safe landing zone It doesn’t all of a sudden change it to a quad.
Its a triple! See below
The Shop
A valley or floor is a lower part in the land, between two higher parts which might be jumps, hills or mountains. Valleys often start as a downward fold between two upward folds in the surface of the Earth..or in this case a track.
So by this we count the floors/valleys in between jumps and the answer is simple. 2 floors = 3 jumps. Its a fucking triple regardless of the last jump's shape..........
2.) Running at it from off track nullifies it no matter how big-ass it is.

Quad/Gay:
No. You got no holeshot and didn't win shit.
If they want to call it a "quad" they need to take out the center of the table.
To expand on that, someone else slower could go double, table.
It is not a Double, Double. The table is one jump.
Of course you do.
2009 US Open:
The infamous 2007 Atlanta "quad" no one else would jump, including RC:
Pit Row
next time marvin goes 3,3,3 in the whoops, lets all call it quad quad quad. SMDH.
Here is Stewart, once again, doing a "Quad"
He goes, Triple, Quad, but comes up short. Math is pretty fundamental.
