Does anyone know if there is bike rental in FL? My son and I would like to make a trip out for a week of riding and test some of these tracks. We are located in So Cal which has a few companies for MX vacations but not familiar with anything on the east coast?

What kind of bikes are you looking to rent?
Take a look at Florida Motocross Vacations for bike rentals. I met the owner at Hardrock MX track and he’s a good guy. I often see his trailer parked at Spyder and Orlando MX tracks. I think he operates out of most of the central Florida MX tracks.

I loved MX 191. Josh seemed like great guy, talked to me and my wife for an hour while I was recovering from 97 degree temps. The wife let me bring my bike to our Destin vacation and spend a day at the track.

Thanks for the details, I will be reaching out so we can set up an MX vacation!

That track looks amazing! Unfortunately the panhandle is a bit out of the way this trip. Appreciate it though!

I live in west Jacksonville, less than 10 minutes from WW Ranch. WW Ranch is in fact closed to the public currently, as Club 57 MX is doing training at the facility. If you are interested in doing any sort of training, regardless of your skill level, you can contact Brad at 815-342-6593 or Brad@Club57MX.com. It is very fairly priced.

With that being said, North Florida MX in Hilliard, FL is a great track and my usual go-to. It is a sand/clay mix. Alan keeps up on the prep throughout the week, and they are now open every day through the end of the year, with the exception of X-Mas day. It is a great track for all skill levels, and not as intimidating as some of the other ones.

Pax Trax is another great option. Different dirt, with two adult sized tracks. They have a parts & service shop, camping, showers, snack shop.

Other options where I have ridden and would go back, are Hardrock MX, Waldo, and Okefenokee.

There are quite a few tracks that are only open on the weekends, so I highly suggest calling before hauling.

Feel free to PM me if you want to meet up and ride. Cool
How would you compare North Florida and Okefenokee? Was planning on riding Okefenokee Saturday on the way down but North Florida looks like another good option and even closer to 95.

I'll def give you a shout...thinking one of the above Saturday and Pax Trax Sunday for starters!

Im in jax also, both tracks are great, but different, NFMX, is a pretty fun track, perfect dirt, very safe jumps, if your looking for a fun, chill day riding, NFMX is nice, the owner is good as the come, track is groomed most days.

Okfenokee, is great as well, if you're a faster more skilled rider, the jumps are bigger, good sized doubles etc....Im an older, slower rider and only cleared the tables, and i still had a blast.

They really are great tracks, and will depend on what tupe of riding you are in the mood for.

I would rather ride Okfenokee than Pa, Okfenokee is an mx track, speed, a couple tech sections, Pax is smaller, and more jumpy, fun too, the faces get a bit too much rutted for my liking (lack of skill).

Think we'll stick with Okefenokee then. We're nothing special when it comes to skill but definitely enjoy the more challenging tracks. If you want to ride there this coming Saturday let me know!

Kijen explained it spot-on. Also, the terrain at Okenfenokee is slightly harder pack than NFMX. The good thing about these two tracks, is that they are only 20 minutes from each other.

No one mentioned WW Ranch in Jacksonville. Is it not open that week? Pax is hit or miss in my opinion, but always open.
My buddy called them and they said open for events only. What do you mean by hit or miss...how it's prepped?
Yes on Pax. We've been there when it was decent, and been there when it sucked as well. I've never been but have friends that stay...

That sucks to hear that WW is no longer having any open practice days.
I was at Waldo 2 years ago and it was fun. Track was prepped well.
