How tough are you?

Last Dog Standing is this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway. Who thinks they've got what it takes and have you ever raced it before? Also, if you came as a spectator, what was it like? Below is the track map. It will take everything a racer has just to make it to the finish.

56 dollar class fee plus 10 dollar gate fee for 30 miles of riding. I wish it was like a 30 out the door with no membership. I was expecting much higher fees so it's somewhat reasonable.

Man, all I can think when I see stuff like that, along with wishing I was a good enough
rider to do it, is how totally trashed a bike must get. $$$$$$$$$$

The mileage is irrelevant. The winner of the race will do stage 2 in no less than 45 minutes and stage 3 in no less than 90 minutes. So that's over 2 hours of riding. And if he chooses to race in the qualifying race on Saturday, that will be another hour-plus of riding. And that's just for the fastest guys. The slower guys will be out much longer, assuming they even qualify to make stage 3.

The entry fee is $56 for the qualifying race and $56 for the Last Dog Standing, or you can race both for $100. That's really not much money for 2 days of racing.
