Izzi gets it

Tonight's episode of Inside the outdoors was awesome. I felt like I was right there getting in Nico's head. It looks like he realizes the sand in his hour glass is running out and he is giving 110%. Good story and I'll be rooting for him in 2013.

Hindsight is, as they say, always 20/20. So I say this with humility but, at this point in my life I can say that nothing this world has to offer is more important than family. Nothing.

I have an image in my head of Izzi running around partying with JLaw and Stroupe and then he goes to a party one night and decides to stay sober and then sees how ridiculous the non-sober people act and decides he wants no part of that.
I'm digging his style the last couple of season.

Havent seen this episode yet. I'll watch it tonight.

It was an awesome episode.

I will be cheering for Izzi a little harder this year after watching it.

I really enjoyed this episode. Great job by Troy and his guys. I have never been an Izzi hater or a super fan. I have always admired his talent, but I figured he had kind of wasted it. It was really compelling to get an inside look into his world and see what went down. I will definitely be paying more attention to him and I can honestly say I am a fan after watching that episode. As a father with a young daughter, I appreciate his devotion to his daughter and to his friend Josh Lichtle. I can't wait for 2013 and to see what Nico can do now that he is back on yellow. Go Nico!

Damn.....I gotta get lumped into that category. I had heard through the grapevine over those few years that he had some issues with the pain pills and I mistakenly lost respect for the guy. One of my best friends of 25 years couldn't kick that habit and switched over to the real stuff ( heroin ) and it got the best of him. He died a little over a year ago and left his ex-wife and a 2yr old and 5yr old boy behind.

As for Izzi......I'll be rooting for that kid this year for sure. In fact I have been rooting for him the past couple seasons because I could see him turning things around. I feel kinda shitty for throwing him under the bus......but in the end , and after watching that episode I really felt for the guy. I think Suzuki is picking up a diamond in the rough with this kid. I hope he has a great season.

Peelout nailed it. It's easy to forget that the young guys in our sport are really just kids. Sometimes, some come off as "punks" or "slackers", but how many of us would have been labeled the same at 16 or 17? It's rare that a teenager can show the judgement and reasoning of a 40 year old adult. Hell, I know some 40 year olds that need to freakin' grow up! It's easy to sit back and judge when you have no idea what a person is dealing with behind the scenes.
I swear, the guys doing Inside The Outdoors have knocked it out of the park this season!! Awesome job people!

Did his wife left him ?Since she's nowhere in the show.
Also, how did he go from a multi year factory deal to a trailer in one year time ?
Good thing that he got his motivation back!

I know it seems far fetched, but It's easy in a situation like Izzi's to go from the penthouse to the outhouse. When you live life at a certain $$$ level you tend to spend and live like it is always going to be there. When it's gone you hang on as long as you can or until the repo man shows up. I don't know Izzi's exact situation, but my guess is i'm close.

Wandell, you hit the nail on the head. The producers have definitely hit a grand slam this year. By far the best moto show ever produced.

Question:

Do you guys think that the riders are getting any kind of kick back from the show this season?

Not to start a whole thing but I thought it was interesting he was saying he was having a hard time with bike set up and everytime he tried to push the Yamaha he would crash.
