He needs a coach to tell him to pick his damn chin up. I don’t see how anyone could ride without looking at the track. He’s going to keep busting his ass on any bike he rides if he doesn’t quit looking down at his fender the WHOLE ride.

lol yes because kawi wants to spend millions of dollars for guys with no chance of getting podiums. Chase has a problem. It’s his dad. Kawi has problems, and it’s their factory R&D team (and management). They absolutely cannot let another top guy out of their contract years early, which is why now they are finally throwing everything they can to fix it. Problem is, it’s years too late for development. Funny a few of you mentioned monster having a hard time because of the Prado incident. While true, they were only upset because he was bailing to go to...

Did anyone else here on vital have a little hunch when they heard that Chase was going to Kawi that this “was” going to happen? Either it was going to be good or be nasty.

Hahahaha It'd be a group of recently crashed guys in plaster and on crutches, then as soon as they heal they say fuck that and relapse. We've seen this before 😄

For me the addiction isn’t as much the adrenaline but the peace I get when I’m on the bike. That peace is next to impossible to explain to anyone who hasn’t ridden. I’m so focused and zeroing in on what I’m doing there’s no room for thoughts of anything else. For those moments I have no stress, no bills, no political garbage, no spam calls, no drama, nothing. That is peace

It is definitely addicting and therapeutic. I started riding at 5 years old (I'm 49 now) and looking back, I think it completely shaped my personality and the way I move through life. From that very young age, I got adrenaline, a sense of adventure, a sense of accomplishment, success, failure, all of it. I still try and ride once...

Well said! I'm 69 and still riding mx. I don't race but ride pratice days about once a week. Like Gravel I've had my share of injuries, bought a lot of bikes and spent too much money. But I still love to ride, and I'll continue doing it until I can't. So , hell yes it's addictive! lol

Same. I’ve never been a great rider, I’ve had a few injuries, I’ve lost good women and friends, spent way too much money, all part of a 50+ year obsession with moto. Started riding /racing BMX in 1972 and it’s progressed from there. At 61 and still riding/racing occasionally, and I don’t know what I’ll do whenever riding isn’t a part of my life anymore. It’s not for everyone, but I have no regrets.

Maybe after a couple years the 327 will become a 350, and if you bore out the 350 it becomes a 355. Long stroke it to a 383. IYKYK.

Would have been a great rookie debut but this kook shows up with a shirt that says RIP Jett and has Jett's girlfriends name on it. Don't believe the hype. Shut up and ride and show us what you can do. This was his home track and best spot to win. Came in wearing diamond chains, leaving with around 4th overall? GTFO with all that shit talking. Great ride for a rookie. Too bad it's over shadowed by all of his shit talking. He will only do worse from here.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. All this heat is warranted when you pull a believe the hype 2.0. Also, the dude should try to actually get a gf before picking on other peoples gf’s. Incel behavior.

I'll tell you how. Him and his insufferable father have been promoting him as the natural competition for Jett Lawrence. Jett Lawrence went 22 - 0 in his first season in the 450 class. Donger got a 5th and 4th place (with Eli out of the motos). Jett Lawrence beat Donger with a cooked foot riding at 60 per cent of his usual self. As I've always said, Donger is not - and will never be - at the level of Jett Lawrence. Conclusion: he - and his douche dad - need to stop chirping. And please, please, can the...

Think he needs to drop the oldman and start fresh. Needs a Johnny o or LB in his corner keeping the head in check. Set the bike up and leave it alone for a couple of months.
