Im not sure I understand the brand ambassador thing. I mean when you pay people for representaion you want them to get your name talked about and mentioned. Heck, these guys dont even race. Like Emig going to Husky, MC going to Kawi. I would just think that the factories would want people talking about their brand, talking about the rider, conversing on message boards, etc. Its their money I guess.

Maybe as a goodwill gesture, emiig can talk Husky brass into sending me a new 350 to replace my new one that was stolen last week. Wink I would be a loyal husky/ktm guy forever.

Seriously it is cool to see him do this. Granted he never rode for husky, but he knows the history of the brand and represents pretty well.

I actually think it kind of makes sense, hear me out: currently, I would say a large majority of our population that has disposable income tends to skew a bit older in the current economic climate. Most of that population that has a history in motocross and are likely to buy bikes were probably involved in the sport when Emig and MC were larger than life and heroes in the motocross world. So in a sense, one might argue that the people with the money can relate more to the brand ambassadors that are "older" now.

Orrrrrr, I could be completely full of shit.

That was my poor attempt at sarcastic irony. I agree.

Well husqvarna has to promote their brand. a brand that was gone for 30 years from US motocross. who do they get as brand ambassador? Alessio Chiodi? they had to go with whoever had the profile they needed. maybe when Anderson retires he becomes the first Ambassador of the brand that really rode and won with them.

i still have my 02,exactly like jt$ except for mods i did.

ulrich did the engine ,all the good gotten out of it. we made a expander ring for the shock piston, the sach had none.

and i have 4 sets of the 50mm forks and clamps.

those 2c pipes were works of art,all seams rolled so the weld is outside leaving the inside slick.

dual curve ingnition that worked great with the benzine fuel.
