Vital MX Chatterbox from RBSR

I don't know...I like KR94 but this last year has been nothing but a lot of excuses/explanations before slipping in a little forced thumbs up at who beat him...

you got beat by an overaged guy who hasn't raced in a year so you default to 'it was just for fun'...?

I guarantee RD5 didn't show up 'just for fun'...

I guess I just miss the days of RC where he would say 'man i just got smoked today, see you next week'...

Oh dear, Ken just wants to have a little fun in life, and doesn't get all serious for a exhibition race with no real meaning for his career, and boom, the vitards are on him like he is throwing his career away.

For me it was a sight to see him having some fun during his races at the RBSR, whipping it for the fans, doing funny stuff on some jumps compared to all the other oh-so-serious racers.
The weeks before the event he was at home in Germany riding with buddies, meeting his friends and just enjoying life.
I guess he wasn't too serious about this race, just wanted to be there for his fans.

And this is ALWAYS the same with every rider: if he states some facts, the internet tough guys call it excuses. Guess you all would rather listen to some sponsor lists, "giving it my 110%"- and "thank the man above"-interviews. Jeeeez...

Winning is not fun. RV proved that, when KR wants to have fun, great. But don't expect to be a milti time champion. Dungey's fun is training, and grinding. Not knocking KR, just fact. Look how much fun RV had, but he won.

Nobody's hatin man..I think many fans, like myself, we were just kinda disappointed that he threw in the towel like that. We thought he had something for JS in that race is all.

pretty sure redbull wouldn't be very happy with a honest statement. 'just for fun' is better marketing, yes believe it or not riders are marketing products. Silly

Highlight of RBSR for me was kens goon riding, it's a fun event, he made it fun, he came second to the fmotp! He just had back surgery after he came 2nd in the ama outdoors by just coasting round injured. I bet ken couldn't care less about what people think of him. He's a world champion, he doesn't need to prove anything

He didn't throw in the towel. He crossed the line and was automatically dq'd for that round so he let off so neither pushed and hurt themselves needlessly. I thought it was great watching KR out there, having fun while hauling ass.

you can spin this however you want.............the reality is ANY competition is just that.............no secret that this is more a mental game than anything

giving bubba confidence is really bad when you gotta REALLY race the guy in a a few months...............this MEC is gonna be more important than any other one raced so far

and if you think it is JUST some one off fun event you're way way way off base Cool

You are only kidding yourself if you think Ken would have beat Dungey if they were matched up.

Dungey and Stew were almost identical on that track........I didn't see Kenny beat Stew at any match-up.

Dungey didn't luck into both titles last year guys... He can go as fast as all of them and had ONE practice crash at an event last year.

That's fucking ridiculous and why he's so hard to beat...

Who cares if Ken beat him the first few SX races, or Eli in MX, or James at Straight Rhythm. SX is 17 races and MX 24 motos. Not a few races, not 5 motos, not 41 seconds. And the Dunge has both number one plates. Better than good chance he'll have them both again this year too.

No, he hasn't. At 21 RV had 3 National titles and a regional SX title. Roczen has an MX2 title, National title, and a regional SX title......
