The power would be the icing on the cake. Major bragging rights after vital publishes the dyno lol. You could always get a klx110 engine fitted if it's too much Tongue

Man, If I could find a bike with a KLX110 engine and CRF450 level-of-quality (not necessarily size) suspension, chassis, and brakes, I'd buy that thing right away provided it was less than $6k, especially if it was around the physical size of a CRF150/230F

For a wife/buddy/big kid bike, or just to rip around the track pinned with reckless abandon, UGGH... that would be perfect
It's called the CRF150R bro
Nice bike, but I want that 110 level maintenance (zero) and don't even need that much hp.

A150f engine in a 150r chassis would work just fine, too.

Cool bike stand. Does the front tire make it lift as you roll on?
This is the old steel Risk Racing stand.

When you roll on the stand laying flat the small piece is at a slight angle and tire helps push the stand up.

Is that your trailer? What/where did you get that? What's the price?

We are doing our First Impression test on the KTM FE next Wednesday, which means the video will be out before next weekend.
Having ridden the Rockstar edition this week, the changes are in the fork setting, linkage bearings and mapping. Incredible bike... but as I said in the test video, price out the clamps, wheels, exhaust, seat, etc and see if the dollars make “cents” or not.

I hate the air fork and all the bullshit to constantly have to adjust the air pressure during the day.

Hopefully KTM will find a way to bring the CV fork or something like it to the production bike one of these days...

Honest question, do you guys with that feeling also have the same feeling toward checking tire pressure?

I would like to know the same thing.

Also, I love being able to play with the pressure to get a different feel. Gives me one more way to tune. I dont do it that often, but I love being able to.

Checking tire pressure is inevitable for any bike, fork pressure is just another thing to check that’s not completely necessary. Imo it fluctuates more and the fluctuation effects the bike more than a tire pressure difference. I think I’m a pretty sensitive rider, I have never felt a noticeable change in tire pressure during a Moto, but have most definitely felt a change in fork pressure. For me it’s not the checking, it’s the inconsistency during riding that’s the problem.

Thanks for the response Ping! Looking forward to your impression video on it

For anyone wondering, I ended up ordering one through a local dealer so fingers crossed I’m able to get one Smile

Where I ride there is sometimes a 35 degree temperature difference between morning and mid day, in my experience the KTM fork works differently in the cold than in warm conditions. I know oil temp in the fork is a factor, but Id like the spring rate to be more consistent.

Stumbled on the clamshell trailed on craigslist and snatched it up. They came from Canada and were designed for hauling full dress gold wings and Harley Davidsons. really streamlined and I get 20 MPG towing it behind my Honda Pilot.
