KTM’s Without Black Rims.

What are some color choices people have used or have been using on ktms when not enjoying the look of black rims any longer? If you played MXVSATV Reflex, you will get the ktm with yellow rims vibe.

Im thinking of going either:

Yellow Takasago

Blue Takasago

Orange Takasago if i can find em.

Silver Takasago.

Post pics below, or maybe ideas. Just looking for some either pictures or ideas thank you.

I guess I’m too old school for rims other than silver. Had an early 80’s Maico that had gold rims that looked decent but my choice is always silver.

Only colors to ever go with are gold\yellow, or silver. Orange, brown, red, and blue go on some bikes ok. Black looks great, as long as bike is never ridden.

that will be so sick, i know everyone does the orange hub but im just over that they have been doing that for like so many years its just gotten stale

Orange rims on Katooms were very popular in the early 00s, more so than black rims were at the time

I think i may go silver, it just sucks cause i have an orange frame, and i just dont know if it will look right.

BTW, thanks to Emig Racing for the cool clamps on that 525, to my knowledge, the very first orange anodized ones on the market -and trust me, I'd been looking everywhere since the day I saw some on a factory KTM...

your setup is fire, how was the 525 back in the day, was it pretty good? i was always curious how the 525s were, i was looking at a 2008 ktm 505sxf and i wanted it so bad!
