Signed up for FloSports today. Snagged screen shots thru the process. During sign up it says $6.99 billed a month thru December. While watching on my Apple TV I went into the subscription category and it shows me being billed 29.99 stating next month. This is what I was worried about.

Signed up for Flo so we could watch the race while we go racing today.
Learned this morning you can’t watch on more than 1 device at a time. So if I go somewhere and watch on my phone, my wife and kids can’t watch it at home. Didn’t have that problem with Mav or Peacock.

Purchase YouTube TV and get ride of your more expensive cable service. Then add the Sports package that includes MavTV and you can watch the race from TV or any device without Flo or MavTV apps.

EDIT:

FloRacing refunded my $150, and honored the $6.99 a month. To be honest, after being as pissed off as I was, their prompt response to my issue and quick resolution was pretty surprising. While I feel this whole shitshow was likely avoidable, FloRacing did a good job correcting it

Tried signing up on AppleTV in the Flo app, on my phone and on PC. Phone says $150 a year, on PC flo will show me $12.50 a month. Flo on AppleTV says you can't sign up on there with no further instruction. I go look at MavTV again to see if it will send me to Flo at the $6.99 rate and I see they have the replays for Southwick? It also looks like they will be live streaming Millville too but when you click it it simply says "can't play stream" What a mess!!!

I was going to reluctantly pay what I was paying for MavTV+ even after the disaster that's been but looks like I can't. Anyone have a direct link to the subscription page to get me $6.99 per month for Flo?

My results with Floracing

So, here's an update.

I decided to try Floracing. I can't download the app to my TV, although it's an android system, it says it's not compatible. TV is less than 6 months old.

It also won't allow me to cast it from my phone to the TV, which is something I've never had a problem with before. I can cast other apps and such, just not this one.

This may not be a problem for most people, but it further reinforces my decision to not even try to watch next year.

That’s a steep ask to be able to watch the nationals in 2023.

Hopefully there will be some kind of MX only package offered.

I’m a die hard fan, have watched the races live for years on Tv and then been a subscriber to NBC Sports and then Peacock for as long as it was an option.

$150.00 to watch motocross will be a very hard sell. Not even because the money. I’m just not sure the value/production justifies that cost.

I can pay and watch. I can also not pay and not watch just as easily to be honest.

I’ll stand by what I’ve said, Fuck flo! They killed Snocross for me and unless I pick up a job wrenching for a team I may never see a race again. I will not pay $150 every January.

They will also actively pull any new motos off YouTube. Those that pirate/post them will have to get cleaver with what they title them or they will get pulled quickly.

Partnering with flo is going to hinder viewership. And no moto guy wants to pay $150 for outdoors then spend the other 9 months of the year watching four wheelers and high school sports.

I have no problem paying to watch. Could be $30 a month and I’ll pay it. I’m done with this season though, not entering my credit card in yet another app.

I’ll wait till they get it figured out, then subscribe

I guess there won't be many TV viewers for Millville this year. I'm waiting for an email response from Flo which I'll probably get mid week if at all, can't call them. Considered paying the $12.50 and then disputing the charge later but I will find other things to do this afternoon instead.

I had the same thing. Sony Bravia. Couldn't get the Flo App through the TV app store connection.

Was originally thinking I could continue to watch MAV for the Millville race but then realized they threw in the towel earlier than expected. I never did receive an email from MAV with the link so figured someone would post it up here. No way was I paying 150.00 for a year of flo...hard telling what will happen with this game of musical chairs.

Got a roku device, set everything up, it worked, the commercials came in great, would rather watch them than racing anyhow.

Checked my account subscription again during the race. I had used the $6.99 link and confirmed it would be $6.99 for the year. It says my next bill will be $29.99 starting at the beginning of August. I'll need to check my CC statement to see what I was charged to start the account.

I CANCELED IMMEDIATELY!!!

I've had enough.

I did an online chat about this same issue earlier. This is their response. So it looks like it should be billed correctly until December.

Been loving the racing this year. I just watch it the next day when available. I’ve never seen such a cluster fuck when attempting to live stream racing.
