Good catch. Looks like this has been cracked for some time and it finally let loose. Even the interior of the tubing has some serious surface rust. Even still, that is a huge amount of force to tear the steel like that.

just because of a litle bit of paint, and they all jump on the bashing of ktm, as if they had any own brand to support....

Steel frames need weep holes to breathe and help prevent moisture build up inside the tubing. Downside is, weep holes also let a lot of moisture in the frame tubing. Being an enduro bike, i would assume the bike sees a lot of water holes and takes on a lot of water when ridden. Its drains out for the most part, but oxidation happens regardless. That sucks, just sheared that frame in half like it was paper.

Wonder what they drilled so hard to gouge the steel frame and stretch it until the paint cracked like this. Damn shame people don't look for things like this that are glaringly obvious when cleaning a bike. Been that way long enough to develop a good amount of rust on the cracked and gouged surfaces.

Billy and Benny, the McGuire twins. Weighed over 700 lbs. each. One lived to be 30 or so, the other amazingly made it into his 50's.

They also rode Z50's in some photos as well.

Proving Honda's CT70's are indestructible.

Dirt bikes are not indestructible, but they do require maintenance. Frame rust aside, look at the rust on the chain...
