Great truck. When I was younger I always wanted a Toyota to lift. Probably had something to do with my uncle having a mid-80's (this was in the 90's) Toyota 4X4 on 40" tires with a chevy small block 350 bolted into it. To say the least it was a bad ass truck. And it always made me want a Toyota. I didn't get one until I bought a new one in 1998. I never ended up lifting it or anything though. It just stayed stock.

Sweet ride man! Enjoy it! You'll be able to pass it down one day probably if you take care of it.

The Tacoma that got traded in had 183,000 miles.

At the very least you need a flat-bill high hat with the Vital logo painted on the tailgate.

OP, nice truck. I drive an 02 Tacoma myself. Bought it new 12 years ago. 100,000 miles and never had an alignment. I just change the oil twice a year. Runs like the day I bought it and still looks good.

Zesiger 112.....congrats on the new ride man! Those Toyota's will last forever as long as you take care of it. Should be a great little moto rig for sure.

Sweet truck.

I'm looking for something along the same lines.

One of the local insurance adjusters who comes by here with his 94 Toyota just turned 620,000 miles. Original engine.

The bike fits in sideways with the tailgate up. There might even be room for a tool box if I open the tailgate. No graphics and electrical tape numbers, 2005 yz 125. Riding on a strict budget lol

My parents truck and my truck, and I'm selling a Camry, yea we like the Toyotas.

And now I'm thinking about painting the centers of the wheels black and leaving the outer ring and the center caps chrome. My ideas for this truck will change everyday.

I'm not really worried about a bed extender. We have loaded up the tacoma with the tailgate down every time. I just bungy strap my ramp, stand and fuel can and wedge my rubermaid gear box between the bike and bed. Then just move the back of the bike over to hold it in place.

I think it would look better if the graphics were about 10% bigger

How about 15%?
15% bigger might be a touch too much. The bottom of each end of the logo should line up one inch from the wheel wells and the lttle sticker looks just right.

What I don't see is the license plate border that says "honk if you are a Vitard". Would make a lot of people free part of the club!

I like the dual tanks. How much extra did that cost? Sure will come in handy hauling that trailer around the country as those Tundra's are quite thirsty.

My taco / moto rig, I have the ramp that doubles as a bed extender plus the universal bed buddy at the front.

That looks pretty damn nice Guy-Bro!
Also, that's a sweet rig you got Zesiger, we drove to the track in this for a couple of years and it never missed a beat... No PWR Steer, no Air-Con, and no radio cause some kids tried to steal it and just mangled everything.Blink

This is how we roll to the tracks! And when we get there, up goes the tent.

I'd be correcting the "nose high" stance before anything else. Unsure

I had a (2wd) Toyota back in 93'. After my divorce, I didn't have a pot to piss in, so I went to one of the mega Toyota dealers in Atlanta and bought a bare-bones pickup. To this day, that was one of my favorite vehicles. That R22 (?) ran like a sewing machine, and was bulletproof. Didn't have much room in the cab, but I was single with no kids, so it was sufficient. I sold it to a guy locally and I still see him driving it around.

Got my car sold so I can drive it now, and have a few hundred to play with. This week I have cleaned it inside and out, took the mud flaps off, sprayed the plastics with Maxima SC1, made a list of what it needs, took the winch off the front, painted the locking hubs red, And got the CAT plate. And today I spent $120, on spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter and a pocket to go under the radio that is in the truck. The oil was just changed so I'm going to wait to change it, and save the fuel filter for then too because it is in a hard location. It runs great, shifts smooth drives straight, I just need to work on my hill starts. This is the first time I have owned a Manuel truck.
I think the next small thing I will do is paint some of the interior where the truck use to be red, like the panel where the top of the seat belt is. And my next big purchase will be tailgate decals.
