The Shop
It happens in business. This is why you'll see a Mugen E-bike before you'll see a Honda one.
Pleeeeaaaasssseee don't tell me "But I've googled it and they're completely separate companies!"
Yeah.... deals like this are TOP top secret, we aren't meant to know, may never know. I wouldn't be surprised if Stark is born from dollars from a big company we're already familiar with.
KTM has its own electric development program, they are not using Rieju as a guinea pig
With not that many changes in the subsequent 10 years. More battery capacity, but still 80cc suspenders and brakes, and, in a size that's between a Trials bike and a real Enduro / MXer.
I've ridden the Freeride E quite a few times, a mate of mine has one he's got plated here, and it's not what I want from a bike. Even if it could be had for a more reasonable price.
I'd hoped by now that KTM would have brought out an E Bike at the level of an EXC or XC / SX. But no, they've just sat on whatever they might have up their sleeves, which is bloody disappointing.
Of course, they've made a move to get the youngsters on E Bikes, and it's said they are going to go further up in size / capacity 'emulation', but as I've written so often, I hope the Stark Varg has put a rocket up their jaxies, and they get the EXC / XC / SX equivalent out, as soon as possible.
Rieju being like Mugen is to Honda , with regards to KTM? Absolute fantasy land.
