Stewart's New Semi Truck Wrap

I haven't seen this on any of the Stewart threads yet but if it is my bad. Anyways there's not that too many other sponsors on there besides Seven and Ride365...

Tbh at this point I don't care, I didn't really miss Mookie, and James hasn't been his top self since 2014. The racing hadn't suffered. Good for them for getting a ride, though.

I'm excited for Mookie to be back! Is he going to be on a 250 or 450?

I doubt it. One semi to run the entire series just for Malcolm doesn't make sense financially

Them? The truck has 47 on it, I don't see a 7... the fat lady is singing.

I was just speaking in general, I have no clue if James will be riding too. But, as I said, I don't really care either way.

I haven't been following the Stewarts' recently, but I have a potentially ignorant question:

If you are going to make such an investment, why not have it figured out before the first round?

Just a guess on my part, but I'd say they were waiting/hoping for one of the established teams to offer something up. By the time they realized that wasn't going to happen, they didn't have time to make their own team before A1.

You guys are crazy if you don't miss the Stewart brothers! James puts it all on the table, i hope it's enough to give a solid 20+1 you know he will if hes up front. N mookie let's just be real, he can win without a doubt! His speed is unreal and he's strong and isn't afraid to get in the mix and make it exciting. You guys will sing a different tune when they both make this more interesting this weekend. The sport needs excitement, they need the stewart brothers in this series.

Did that other thread get yanked for some reason?

So, what we know now is that Malcolm is doing his own thing on a Suzuki, getting his rig dialed in with new graphics for A2. No sign of James on them for now though, will James join his brother on the same team later in (Oakland) or is he getting on another bike in a different team? (Husky)

Jeff, while I agree the sport is more exciting when they are racing, I don't agree with you on their capacity to challenge to win, or even stay somewhere near the top ten. The pace that the top ten is running (especially the top 5) is going to make it pretty hard to just drop in and run 20+1 right off the bat. I'm sure as time goes on they might get a bit closer to the front but nothing in the past year indicates that either one of them is capable of getting anywhere near the podium at least in the immediate future. Not trying to be right or wrong here, just looking at the recent history of their performances.

How much technical help are they getting? Are the bikes near factory, or not? These are all things I am looking forward to finding more information on. When Reedy formed his own team, he spared no expense in securing top people in every area. He was in it to win it and backed it up.

Wow I wonder how much money was spent to originally wrap the truck then re-wrap it?

That is a lot of wasted money! Maybe the drama around them still continues......

Quite possible, I guess I was thinking that a semi is pretty big for just one rider?

So is one to think there will be two trucks, thus possible two different bike brands? Suzuki (Mookie) and Husky (Bubba). Or does that even make sense?

Or does this mean James is putting the focus on lil' bro? And taking a backseat. Can't really see that happening.

One thing for sure...they keep you in the dark and guessing right up till the reveal.

Michael? Help us out here. You and GuyB maybe know something more?

Ok. I'm utterly confused. Part of the blessing and curse of being a James "Bubba" Stewart, Jr. fan.

Sigh.
