Good. I hate be the only one in the dark. Smile

This doesn't make sense. But I do remember Matthes saying he thought he would be on a Husky not Suzuki. Does that play into this?

Jeez, you have to be Benedict Cumberbatch to solve the Stewart mystery. Wink

Or does this mean James is putting the focus on lil' bro? And taking a backseat. Can't really see that happening.

One thing for sure...they keep you in the dark and guessing right up till the reveal.

Michael? Help us out here. You and GuyB maybe know something more?

Depending on how the wrap is done, it wouldn't be hard for the truck to go through the I.E. on it's way back from Arizona and get the last 1/4 changed before heading north.

Ya know, since James is aiming for Oakland.

Raining Yellow just restarted his cold shower routine.

I agree with Jeff, can't wait to see these guys back.

Did GuyB handle the publicity stunt on this effort? The only thing that would top this odd hype driven dribble of pics and unconfirmed news is a cover over a full factory unobtanium Husky of some sort. Wink

Man, they like to throw away some money. Hope that whatever sponsors they have at least fit most the bill. Will love to see them back out there, but I almost cringe thinking what it cost to run a rig around. Get a box van or something and least see how it goes for a while.

Thank god for this story. The season has already been distilled down to a two man race (as if it was ever going to be anything but with the possible exception of Eli). I look out at the moto horizon and unless Dungey and Roczen start locking bars and flipping each other off things are going to get really boring once James and Chad hang up their boots.

You guys are crazy if you don't miss the Stewart brothers! James puts it all on the table, i hope it's enough to give a solid 20+1 you know he will if hes up front. N mookie let's just be real, he can win without a doubt! His speed is unreal and he's strong and isn't afraid to get in the mix and make it exciting. You guys will sing a different tune when they both make this more interesting this weekend. The sport needs excitement, they need the stewart brothers in this series.
on the mookie part... he can win????????? uhhhhhhh have u seen the pace of dunge & kenny lately?????? lol come on man , mook is very fast but he aint goona hold tht pace all race long

I wonder if Malcolm's results will be better now that he doesn't have to pit out of a sprinter van? Serious question. Like does it give them a mental edge or something when they are pitting out of a big rig?

Tell me again why a rider needs a semi to haul one bike?

Have you been on a gate with the Stewarts? I think the gentleman you quoted holds more validity in this arguement.... He has been on the gate with the riders named. At race pace. On more than one occasion.

It's about having a pit presence... Sponsors don't want a rider in a box truck out back...then want a nice looking rig sitting in the middle of the pits.

Maybe James went back to the drawing board after seeing the pace Dung and Kenny are running. I wouldn't blame him because you know he is not going to line up unless he knows he is going to win.

Looking forward to seeing Malcom out there even if this whole semi thing seems a bit odd.

Crossland owns the truck and it's just sitting and he has more money than we could dream of. Why not get use of it and advertise the Ride365. Allow Mookie to use the truck, pay for the fuel, driver and the wrap and everything else is on Mookie. It's a good business decision.

It wouldn't make much sense to not have them both pitting out of the same rig. Honestly, I'll be surprised to see James out there. Hopefully he is, (if he wants to be), but I'm not holding my breath.

You don't need to be on the gate with them to see that Dungey and Roczen are on another level. It's not a bash to the Stewart's, it's a compliment to the other two superstars. It's also the reality. If either Stewart's show up and run top 10 that'd be great for them. But they won't be running at the front. Save this comment and report back at the end of the season.

47 represents Malcolm's own sponsorship of the team. James sponsors via Seven MX.
