It's a "non-decision" decision

That's good

Honestly they won’t have much say one way, or another. All we can do is wait, and see how this thing progresses, and listen to people who know what they’re talking about. Those are the people who are going to decide on major events for the near future.

All this “hide in your house” stuff is to lower the infection curve and slow things down do the medical system can try to handle this and not crash. It’s not stopping it from happening.

It's more of a "let's see where we're at in 2 weeks" since people may not show signs of having it for 2 weeks.

They're predicting the "peak" of this outbreak will be early May. Buckle up, your day to day life is about to be a massive shit show.

Not easy tho.

I saw one of the 45 day projections that the talking-heads in the news are using...it’s not great. During that time the virus exposure grows a bit and affects more people. So...

That 45 day period takes you into May.

Nope...expect to see this for 2-6 MONTHS before any large gatherings are allowed....depending on how fast and far and deep into the population it goes...

This is possible...I hope things wind down sooner; but, it is possible.

We'll see how everything pans out in China in the coming weeks with everyone "going back to work." If we see a spike in cases, you can bet that other actions will need to be taken by other countries.

Based on information and research done by Michael Osterholm and his assessment of the current situation (as of March 17, 2020, it's not looking good for any event.

This is going to be a really long off season. At least we won’t hear riders complaining about their busy (no off season) schedule for a while...

With testing lagging so hard, I don't see how any even moderately sized groups are an OK idea.
All it will take is a couple unknowingly infected persons to start the black ball rolling again. We're
going to be on lockdown for a while.

Due to the lack of testing there was a number being thrown around a few days ago that for every 1 confirmed there's more like 25-50 unaccounted for or self quarantined with symptoms. So, 8,000 right now times 25 is 200,000 in the US. That's believable after hearing all these stories of people with symptoms who get turned away due to being "low risk individuals".

Everyone take a deep breath. Now exhale...relax.

We’re in wait and see mode. And there’s a good chunk of time between now and the start of the season.

That's where I was at until I got word that schools will be shut down until after summer break and they're working on curriculum to home school the rest of the year. I think shit's hit the fan, it just hasn't landed everywhere yet.

People here in Los Angeles have been pretty good about not going out since everything is basically shut down. I swear, it hasn't been this quiet in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember. No sirens, no ghetto birds, no nothing other than hearing the neighbor kids in their yard playing.

Having said that, the curfew/lockdown is coming very soon.
