Whats the deal with SG12s and broken toes/arch areas?
I know people who own SG12s which have suffered such from stupid crashes, ie crashes which shouldent have done any harm to their feet

Ouch
I hate broken/dislocated toes
They seem like they take so long to heal and just nag at you forever.

Thanks Jeremy for gutting it out and laying it on the line. Heal up well man. You gave it your all and its appreciated.

Sux for Jeremy, he did great under the circumstances...

I will say tho... Once again... Why is MX so secretive? Why couldn't we hear about this before the race?

I did something similar but not quite that bad and I had to walk on crutches for 2 weeks. A big toe doesn't seem like a big deal, but that is SO FUCKING PAINFUL it's not even funny!!

Yep! I hate stubbing my toe haha... Isn't the case that if you lose your big toe your balance is fucked and it makes it super hard, ney impossible to walk?

Can't imagine a break is much better.

Anyone who has ever broken a bone in thier foot knows how much pain this young man was feeling off the bike.
I can't imagine the discomfort his was in riding the bike at the pace he rides.

"I would rather ride through 1 1/2 hours in pain than live the rest of my life thinking I let my team and country down"

This young man is the real deal!

Cheers, Pat

No big deal.
I broke my foot and went to the races... The horse races.

It makes me cringe thinking how bad he must've hurt, and to still go out for his country. Mans a warrior.

This isn't just a national pride thing. All MXers can look at that and be proud. I don't care if it's Martin, Tonkov, Cairoli or Herlings.....what other sport do competitors push aside injury and pain to get back out there and compete like MXers?

That is unreal. From personal experience, a chipped bone on a didgit or toe is excruiating.

Props

That had to be so painful for Martin. Takes 360 days for a broken finger to stop hurting a doctor told me and it really did. I've broken my big toe a few times right in middle of toe. One toe looks like ski slope and other looks flat flat. His is in a bad spot for pain at knuckle area it looks like.

Broken ribs, but he didn't want to pass up that chance to ride that HRC Honda CRf450.

Jeff Emig mentioned it on more than one occasion during the broadcast.
