A bit longer video, but a good show of what mountain bike Ebikes are at right now. That stealth is litterally a dirtbike with pedals lol.

it's up now, they look like shite if you ask me. This is their top model:

250W is pointless too.
A guy at my office mounted a 2kw motor in the wheel and it looks much better, it's basically just an engine mounted in the front wheel and a lithium battery in behind the saddle. So you can mount it yourself on any bicycle in a few minutes. He now rides about 50km/h to the office on his bike. Looks similar to this:

I don't like to pedal, but love biking, so 'motorbike' I like. If its slow, then that's what it is. Not many have the Maico 700, it is faster than any 450. I love a 125, if its slower oh well, sure beats 'pedaling'.

I believe on the Yamaha E-Bicycles site where it asks you to "Notify Me" is Yamaha is seeing what if any interest there may be in these bicycles. They are probably not even in production as they are hoping for pre orders to determine how many to produce and if it is even worth doing. I would also think most Yamaha dealers would not even be interested as they are having enough problems selling new Yamaha motorcycles. I don't like the Yamaha E-Bicycles myself, they are just bicycle mopeds but that is just my opinion. My wife and I have Trek "Hybrid" bicycles that we ride on paved bicycle paths, in parks, and on Daytona Beach. We ride our pedal bicycles just for fun, a little exercise, and something to do together. Our Trek Bicycles are all we need. We do not need or want a Yamaha E-Bicycle and I believe most people will feel the same way.

The specialized Levo is the cream of the crop right now for MTB ebikes that are staying respectful to mountain biking while offering assist. It is also the only one that at first glance does not look like a bike with a massive tumor on it (battery) it is well integrated in to the down tube.

That KTM does look good, and you are right about the Scott, it is a mean one and I forgot about it. Nice thing about the specialized is there are several different models of Levo with different price points, so it is in reach for many people. The top end Specialized Levo and that Scott are almost $10k.

That is cool. Ronnie Renner is great rider on anything with 2 wheels. That Stealth E-Bike hauls ass, handles well, and looks like a lot fun. That E-Bike looks much better than the Yamaha's in my opinion. Since seeing this video I have changed my opinion on E-Bikes earlier in this thread. I want one just like Renner's!!!! But I can see where these could cause a lot of trouble for the pedal crowd on public trails. Maybe E-Bike tracks and designated public trails if they become popular would be the answer. E-Bikes, Mountain Bikes, and hikers all on the same trails would not be good. Also you know people will bust their ass on E-Bikes and get hurt real bad. Then their will be law suits, bad press, and if the government gets involved it will really be a real cluster. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I want to see one in my garage soon to ride on all of the trails on my private land.
