ok you guys.. don't laugh too much but I know zip, zilch, zero about photoshop.. but I got on Microsoft paint today anyways and tried my best to draw up the way I wanted these graphics to look.. I know there is an ezza fella on here that is really good with this stuff (he made james stewart an Olympic gymnast this morning lol) so maybe him or someone else could have a go at this.. What I basically want is the stock ktm logo layout in blue, on Suzuki plastic, with a black stripe background, and I tried to make an orange "z" but I couldn't get the color or the z right.. heres two pics of both bikes on the same side, maybe someone could chime in for me

Literally took me two hours to do this, and it still looks like a monkey with a slight case of downs syndrome drew it up blindfolded on a broken ipad

Well, gonna pick up where we left off.. long story short the billet headstay just wasn't going to work.. it looked trick, but since the brace was made from one solid piece, it didn't flez enough to "clamp" the motor with the bolts on the frame and the motor.. if that makes any sense.. it would have been loose, and loose = vibrations.. so back to the drawing board.. I needed a headstay that was at least two pieces.. so off to work

Start of a new headstay.. I hate doing things twice, but sometimes you have to.. positive to this one is that it will weight next to nothing and still get the job done

I used an old set of aluminum handlebars and chopped them up for spacers to get everything lined up.. the nuts are just there for mockup.. I don't roll like that :-)

What about going with white plastics? Then do the logos in yellow, orange, and blue?

Even though you would think making this bracket would be a breeze.. it was actually a little bit of a pain in the ass getting it just right, getting the offset right, and making the coil mount where I needed it..

Looks like the build is moving right along, I'm glad to see it didn't fall off the first page with all the A1 stuff. Your quality of work is impressive, I'd like to see what your shop puts out. I tried to google Hills Hot Rods and nothing really came up.

And.. 3rd and final round for the head stay.. after all the measuring and prepping.. when Isat the tank down the coil was dead center of where the fuel petcock needed to be.. so I redid another set.. got all my final measurements.. drilled a fel holes and gave it a quick sand to knock the shine off.. and it turned out perfect.. final pics

Nice head stays Sheezie but have to say I'm not a fan of the bolts. need to find some genuine type by going through the OEM parts web pages to see if you can match the length for what you need or going to moto shop that specialises in dismantling MX bikes or something Keep on keeping on anyway>

I think SuzuKTM is much better. Kind of rolls off the tongue. "Sazookedthem"

Hey Fosheezie, check out decal works. They have a design emulator that lets you design your decals and you can see what they look like as you design them.
