I noticed something incredible this morning in Season 2 Episode 8 of Better Call Saul. I started watching the episode last night but fell asleep so restarted it this morning. I didn't notice it last night. Watch the opening sequence of this. What an incredible piece of camera work:

Yep, kinda mesmerizing.

I don't know shit about film work or camera stuff but it looked like that was all done with one camera, non-stop. Some looked like had to be drone shots.

Buddy doesn't make out so good, later on. Whistling

The 2nd and 3rd seasons get sooo much better. I felt the same way at first. More breaking bad characters start to appear.

I'm thinking I made a mistake by not giving Saul a chance before. I'm finding it pretty good so far on the second try.
I was the same with Breaking Bad, I decided to give Breaking Bad a chance when all the advertising and radio stations were in an uproar about it being the last season. Hell i binged all the seasons then watched the last episode as it was being played on TV. It's now one of my favorites.

Better Call saul started out slow but by the third season it had content and was really going somewhere, putting things in place from the first seasons until where he's at now is the lure that keeps you interested.

Ever seen Mythbusters? They had a show called Breaking Bad that debunked some of the things Breaking Bad did like the acid in the bathtub Myth. On how it can eat through steel but not areal Bathtub thats porcelain lined or fiberglass.

Vince Gilligan was on the show and said "Maybe it was made out of cheese" Here are a few of them

In the last episode Walt’s injury is a gun shot to the gut, and according for the movie ‘Reservoir Dogs’ that can take days to kill a man. Hopefully Walt lives, gets thrown in prison, and uses his genius to escape. Jesse will probably start cooking again using Badger and Skinny Pete, and Saul will definitely be involved. I see several “movies” coming out in this series.

I can't really get into Better Call Saul. I think the problem I have with it is that the guy doesn't always act in a believable way, or in a at least in a way that I can relate. I'll do a job interview, get the job and then proceed to attack the guys for giving me the job... etc. Real people don't do things like that. It's wacky writing for the sake of wacky writing.

With Walt I find his motivation for 'most' of what he does understandable and logical (given his situation).

I gave Saul a 2nd chance and went ahead and watched all 4 seasons this weekend. I have no life. Smile It turned out to be pretty good. I also didn't like Saul much in Breaking bad.

I really screwed up the finale though. I accidentally watched the last episode 1st rather than the 1st episode of season 4 and didn't realized it until the end. I was thinking the timeline was really off for some reason but didn't realize what had happened until I started to watch the last episode last night and realize I already watched it. Smile So then I had to go back and watch episode 1 to see what I had missed. What a dumb ass. Smile

The cinematography was great but the storylines can't hold a candle to the Sopranos or the Wire, IMHO.

There's a Soprano's movie in the works. It's a prequel. James Gandolfini's son Michael Gandolfini will play the part of Tony.

Movie will also star: Ray Liotta, Jon Bernthal, and Vera Farmiga

It's going to be called The Many Saints of Newark.

Sypnosis: A look at the formative years of New Jersey gangster, Tony Soprano

Better call Saul was really slow to start off. The only exciting part was when Tuco was on there then it got slow again. Season 2 it started getting good.

The Hector/Nacho stuff gets a bit intense at times. Once they set it up.

Man so happy I gave Breaking Bad another go. It ended up being one of the best series I have ever watched. The wife and I were craving it the whole time and wasted many whole days watching it and so bummed it ended. Edge of our seats most times. So great. BCS definitely starts off a bit slow but it is good and more action as it goes along and familiar faces start showing up. Currently on season 2 episode 7. Good times.

The movie is supposed to focus on Jesse, not Walter. I wouldn't be surprised if Walter shows up in a voice over or flashbacks, though.
