Going to start the rebuild on my 96 CR forks.

According to the Race Tech website, I need .42kg springs, but they dont have them. "Next closest availible" is .44kg. I dont know anything about springs. Is this a large significant difference?? I'm not trying to get them dialed in, just rebuilt & sprung more appropriate for my weight.

That should not be a issue.

Check in their alternative springs list. That difference isnt too much so i wouldnf worry.

I have a set of 96 cr 250 forks that were pro circuit modified , back in 96, whatever they did to them back then? with .43 springs....I have not had the forks apart, as I went the 08 crf 450 front end route.

The part number you need is frsp 4142, do a search if you want the 42's, they may not list them as so close to stock
