KYB clicker removal

Is it possible to remove the clicker so i can anodize the outer part black like on the A kit.

What does the underside look like? I think, if it's how I picture it, you have to first take off the needle on the backside. Then you can get it out through the bottom.

On the under side there is a recessed pin that is 1 part and moves in and out with the clicker. I will take a picture later on.

I took apart some other Showa caps and clickers but it was a while ago and I'm trying to remember how I did it...
