damn!
Nice I had 1984-87 cr125s back in the day raced a little 125 B class at Byron. I loved to play ride by my house. I don't remember on the pipe.
The Shop
I need to scan my pictures I have a few
I also had a 1984 ,1987 ,88 back in the early 1999 / 2000 and a 1989 in 2003 only did a restore on the 84 it wasn't good back when the free ride stuff took off I will find a picture of it with the flame seat.
I guess I should have started this with how my 1987 project started. I was at a local shop back in 2009 getting a filter and oil for my ktm and looked up to see they had a bunch of used parts hanging around and saw a 1987 cr125 tank with 1 shroud on it (only part he had)and asked the owner if I could see it he took it down and I asked how much he answered $20 SOLD. Then i told him it was mine from back then and I showed him the hand cut JT bad bone stickers were hand made on the shroud. Notice the cuts marks. So now 15 years later its time to build a bike around it.
Swingarm is 88 but I have NOS 87 pro link decals
Swingarm wont work with my nos brake set up it would need a 88 brake. So the swing arm is for sale I posted it on ebay let me know if anyone is interested I would do a way better deal.
Pit Row
NOS seat
Got the NOS 1987 swingarm and 88 rear wheel now
Where are you finding NOS for a bike that old?
The internet parts are very hard to find .
Ive done a few sport bikes
This bike I did had a lot of NOS parts The thing is you are paying $$$ for them. And it may take years to find everything you really want. Sometimes you have to settle for the cleanest part you can find.
