Listening to the Indy Racer X review pod with Matthes, Weege and JT. They made mention that the Lawrence camp/Feld told the media not to ask Hunter any questions in the press conference related to taking out Thrasher at Daytona.
What kind of soft shit is that?
A legit journalist would then ask "so we were told not to ask about the incident between you and Thrasher at Daytona; if there was no ill-intent there, why would you not want to field questions related to that incident?"
They didn't say it came from the Lawrence camp, but assumed it did. Feld for sure told the media not to ask about in the press conference and that is for sure chicken shit.
Also BS considering they will use that clip for years to come to promote the series. Just like the Friese/Peick incident.
I don't have a problem with them using the clips at all, but don't try to hush anyone.

Wonder if Steve rants about it on the show tonight, or if he dodges it because him and “Mirts” are tight. Given that he is the moto media that’s asking to be silenced, this is something one would expect him to take a stand on.
I feel like if he doesn’t and rolls over on this, we’ll be one step closer to Monster Jam than a real sport.
That's pretty sad. Hopefully the Honda camp will stay silent then and not complain when one of the blue bikes gives it right back to Hunter.
I'm fine with Hunter's aggressive move at Daytona, but that means I'm also okay with a blue bike paying Hunter back when the opportunity presents itself.
I'm with you 100%. And to date this season, I have no issue with any contact between Thrasher or Hunter. Its been good, competitive, hard racing. Nothing dirty.

Once Thrasher beats Hunter, and he will beat him, others will follow and Hunter will be 3-5 guy.

The potential Thrasher/Hunter drama doesn’t fit Feld’s narrative of ramming the Lawrences & Deegan down your throat, so they try to mitigate it rather than cover the story if anything unfolds.
I agree they should be able to ask whatever. The bullshit part was assuming it came from the Lawrence camp and nobody here knows that and the OP was making it up......hence bullshit.

Steve is also assuming. He didn't know they told them not to ask about it until it brought to his attention on that pod. I am not saying it didn't come from him, but assumptions suck. Feld was the one who said it and it should not have been brought up by anyone. It's ridiculous.
Problem is if you ask the question you will probably be black balled since it was put out there by Feld.
I'd love to see someone ask the question or better yet just see Hunter get taken out as retaliation.
