By the looks of the sector times, JS7 was right about Sexton being faster but had poor line choice in one sector that caused his overall lap to be slower. Impressive call by JS7.

The crash wasn't even in his sector.  AMA guy.

I was going to say if Jett goes 1-1 again I'm calling a perfect season, but after watching him those last few laps I'm calling it right now, no-ones beating Jett this year.

I called it after first practice at Pala!😏 Looked like the jinx didn’t work lol.

I don't know why it makes people so upset that they have to downvote. At the start of year sure it wasn't as obvious, but by now anyone who can't see Jett is on another level this year is in denial. Sexton got into second and he kept pulling away without even trying, so who's going to beat him?

Todd DeHoop looked awesome in that intermission segment. Glad to see he’s back to normal after that nasty crash a few years ago at Daytona.

Okay…I know some will rag on this but… the coverage is missing some major passes and incidents on the track….for a long time.  You see a big player falling back on the live timing and they don’t even notice because they are too enamored with the sound of their own voices.  I would rather see them follow the race as close as I do then to pontificate on someone back in the field.  Jmo

Don’t blame the guys calling the action. It’s not their job to follow the on track standings at all times. That’s why they have spotters. The director needs to realize when battles are happening and keep the camera on those battles.

It’d only be the announcers being enamored with their own voices if it was their decision on what action was being followed…

Fair enough…to an extent….but they have access to all the information I see and some.  Even if the cameras are not on the action then they can still talk about it.  “Shimoda is falling back on the timing…. Let’s see if we can cut to that”.  Instead of talking for a half lap before they notice one of the top riders fell back multiple positions…. Or DF seemed to be back from the battle of Ty and AC…then he is magically passed them…all while talking about largely irrelevant stuff….

What's the go with the break?

The first few rounds it was 30 minutes. The last few it's only been like 15.

I missed the start of race 2 last week thinking it was going to start and 40mins past.

First rule of race calling is to only talk about what is on screen...

I was going to say if Jett goes 1-1 again I'm calling a perfect season, but after watching him those last few laps I'm calling it right now, no-ones beating Jett this year.

I called it after first practice at Pala!😏 Looked like the jinx didn’t work lol.

The downvotes comes from who the OP is. Most don’t think objectively, just like politically, most people vote down party lines without even knowing or showing interest on the issues.

Downvotes mean nothing.     Pay no attention to them.
