Why do you think the 2004 CR250 is better than the others. I bought a 2004 a few months ago, and all my friends that rode it said it is the fastest 250 2 stroke they have ever ridden, but some magazines said its slow.

Another rider on here Really Liked his 04 cr250 too. He said it’s kinda like a a 125 power band but pulls like a Real fast 250.  Sounds like a perfect 250 engine .  Use the hrc method for adjusting the pv. I use that on my 04 cr125.  It’s on yt.  A Very tiny bit of grinding inside the hole on the cylinder. That the pv shaft goes threw. I polish the round wheels on the shaft too.  Much free er & smother pv operation.

Thanks for the polishing tip. I saw the right way to adjust the power valve cables on youtube, but luckily I don't need to touch mine because the bike runs like a 350 in mid range. It will easily wheelie if one doesn't sit forward and lean forward when twisting the throttle. .
