The problem is the guys in the booth rarely 'call the race'.  They get on long winded 'narratives' about whatever and dont call the action.  When they utter the dreaded words 'throw it to Wil', it just gets worse.

It is an obvious production decision,  And not a good one. 

At this point I wish they would just offer an audio stream of the track mikes,  lets just hear the bikes.

That's the biggest thing I want. Call the race action as it happens. Describe in detail what is happening in that moment. I'm sure it's easier said than done. But let's try it and see what happens.Cool

Those in charge don't think the racing is exciting on it's own so they fill it with uneeded filler that they think enhances the program. Sadly mistaken.

Would be interesting to know how many new viewers thay've gained since A1 with this dumbed down format?
