Hello all!
You've probably noticed a different look around these parts. We launched our newest site today, with an intention to upgrade and add many features but also try to keep some of the look and feel of our previous platform.
Today was day one for the public launch of this site and while we've done a ton of testing on our end before bringing this to the light of day, there's no better learning experience then taking it public.
If you would like to learn more about the new features and updates for a user, check out this piece our MTB crew did when they went live with this site a few weeks ago: https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/new-vital-mtb-community-features
We've already seen a good amount of feedback and are addressing some of these items, along with our own list we learned from once we got some public load on the site and running through all the features. No matter how much testing we do, everyone uses the site a bit differently so we're looking forward to hearing the continued feedback. What is here isn't the end version, as we're always trying to improve. Thank you for your patience while we continue to work on the mapping, adjust the clickers and try to find the right sag for all aboard this ride.
If you have any further feedback, please, fire away.

I like to be able to delete my post after selling an item in the Bazaar.
Or when I'm getting owned in a thread.
Will that feature be coming back?
MAKE MOTODRIVE GREAT AGAIN...
Joke aside, I only check the moto forum to see what's going on in our niche. I see small changes. I'm cool with it. It still does the job I ask for...
Why is the font so big on the moto related or non moto main page but it looks normal when I click on a thread?
That's near top of the list. That wasn't meant to be removed as a function for users, so small oversight. Should see it fixed pretty quickly.
The Shop
I’m on mobile, iPhone. Sometimes, when I try to post a reply in threads, the screen jumps above and below the reply field with each character I type, to the point where I can’t see what I’m typing. More consistently, zooming in on pics in threads does the same thing, I’ll try to get a closer look at something in a pic, and when I zoom in it’ll jump above or below the pic altogether.
It’s doing it now, actually. If I scroll above or below this reply field, it will jump way above or below where I had stopped scrolling at. Pretty frustrating.
Are there any modules or ads still loading on the page as this is happening?
Do the new updates allow us to see what chumps downvote our comments?
No. However, I have a laundry list of items I wanted to address once this new site was up and running with all the bugs worked out.... Looking at how we do up vote and down votes is on that list. The "Chumps" comment makes me believe you won't take kindly to those who don't agree with you and downvote you though.
Could you by any chance post a screenshot of it or email it to me? Mlindsay@VitalMX.com
I'm not seeing that on my end.
I'm not a fan of the first post having a different background.
The line between posters could stand to be darker.
Edit: I can edit posts on mobile again so that's fantastic.
Wasn't the thread title still visible at the top of the page even after scrolling down previously?
Mobile font seems smaller. Like the old size for my old eyes! I’ll keep looking around to see the updates.
No, it looks like everything is loaded in already, even scrolled down to make sure all the ads and feature cards loaded in okay. It’s pretty glitchy on my end.
I don't think so but maybe? I don't remember off the top of my head.
Are you using chrome or safari?
Scroll to the bottom of the page and there should be an option called "accessibility widget" Click it to on and you'll get a new menu that allows you to change font size, text spacing, contract and a few other things.
The text size appears preset? Can I scroll up to a size just a tad bigger then the original reset?
My bad, I was playing with the larger text vs the font button. Looks good!
Keep in mind, people fall into 3 categories:
1. Quick to change
2. Slow to change
3. Can’t change
Everything changes so it’s ok to fall into the first two categories but if you’re too slow to change, you fall into number 3. That means you’re fired, divorced or on your own. Most people fall into number 2…give it a two weeks. Thanks for your commitment to giving us a better experience!
Pit Row
I'm not sure why, but some of the thread topics are staying red even after I viewed them several times. They should turn grey like the rest of them.
Safari
Up and down votes take forever to load now. Also, the color change to indicate that you’ve voted seems to have disappeared.
The messages and alert tab is pretty cool. Trying to type out anything on mobile is a bit glitchy
You might want to throttle back on the profanity filter for thread titles a bit. Some poor guy down the page is asking about legal suspension mods in the limited "cla**"
Edited to add: The speed is awesome, though. I don't think I've ever seen this site move this fast.
Tried Chrome instead of Safari, opened the Mumford thread, and the thread didn’t fit to the page. It actually allowed me to scroll over/zoom out quite a bit. Made it a little clunky when I tried to scroll down and scrolled right a bit by accident.
Cant seem to post multiple photos either
The vitalmx banner stays on the screen at top when scrolling up or down on forums but goes up when scrolling down on home page. PC & firefox
The time stamps of posts seem to either be incorrect or the comments are out of order.
Typing out a response on mobile is really buggy for the first couple of lines of text and causes the page to jump all around.
Need the different color thumbs when you’ve casted a vote on a post again.
