ProTaper SELA Holeshot Device
Vital Review
The Good

Universal for modern bikes, simple install, works just like it is supposed to.

The Bad

Small click when riding, the priciest option for holeshot devices.

Overall Review
If you are going to line up to race motocross, a holeshot device is mandatory. But traditional holeshot devices usually take two people with good timing to engage (unless you are Ken Roczen). Enter the ProTaper SELA (Self-Engaged Launch Assist) Holeshot Device that makes it a one-person job. Just turn the knob, compress the forks and you are good to go. Also, the SELA is compatible with most modern motocross bikes, since the fork ring is adjustable and there are different pin latches for different bikes.

ProTaper Clamp-On Pillow Top Grip
Vital Review
The Good

Couldn't be simpler, super comfort from the pattern, and throttle cams match nearly all bikes.

The Bad

Limited pattern options, you might be out of luck if you are a die hard full waffle guy/gal.

Overall Review
There’s only a few points of contact between the rider and the bike and they make a big difference in how the bike feels. The grips are one of the most important contact points for me. When the grips are too harsh, I feel like I am holding directly onto the metal bars and my hands will hurt for a day or so after. But if the grips are not designed with enough durability then you’ll find yourself having to buy new grips every other ride. ProTaper has not only adopted this concept from mountain biking and some moto lock-on grips but they’ve perfected it. First Impressions ProTaper has always had...

ProTaper Fuzion Handlebar
Vital Review
Overall Review
For some, handlebars are just a hunk of metal that they hang onto and use to turn the bike. Picky people, such as myself, find that every millimeter difference in the bend, or how the bars flex, can greatly affect how you ride. For the longest time, I'd been a part of the crossbar clan. Whether it was reality or just a mental thing, I seemed to be more comfortable with a crossbar in front of me. But at the same time, I do value the extra flex that comes from an oversized bar without a crossbar. Apparently someone at Pro Taper had the same conundrum. That's where the Fuzion comes in which has a...

ProTaper Tri-Density Half Waffle MX Grip
Vital Review
Overall Review
Review and Photos by Joe Carlino At some point almost every rider will crash, then lift it up to find that the end of the grip is shredded and the handlebar exposed. This is not only a bummer, but could also be the end of your day at the track. The new Pro Taper Tri-Density grips are designed to withstand more abuse on the grip ends, yet leaving the compound in the contact area of your hands tacky and comfortable. Pro Taper Tri-Density Half Waffle Grips Features: Three different compounds are built in to create comfort, traction, and durability. Anti-rip bar end tip increases grip life...
