Thor MX was formed in the late 1970's by former Motocross racer Torsten Hallman. He began selling gloves and pants at the races after he retired and eventually started manufacturing full sets of gear. Today, Thor MX is one of the most popular Motocross gear companies in the world and sponsors several top riders/teams. Currently, Thor MX sells casual wear, bags, backpacks, boots, gear, goggles, and helmets.

Thor Reflex Helmet
Overall Review
During any normal year, there would have been a lot more fanfare for an all-new high-end motocross helmet from THOR with pros on-hand, tech presentations, and for sure a taco cart. But, since this is anything but a normal year, we pretty much just got a THOR Reflex helmet in the mail and headed out to the track. The big news for the Reflex is that it uses three different types of protection technology - Koroyd, EPS foam, and MIPS. All three work together at making a very protective and ventilated helmet.

As with most protective gear, top-level riders wear the top level motocross gear, helmets, boots, etc., which makes sense. But the moto world isn’t just for top level riders.
