It wouldn't be an issue if they were consistently enforcing their own rules, but they don't.

Like 70/30 or even 80/20 in favor of Chase packing his bags and leaving the shitshow? Where does each party go from here? If two top riders split from Kawi in two years no factory rider will touch them with a barge pole for at least a few years. And where does Chase go? Star Yamaha is the only realistic option but can they pay him what he would want? They now have Deegan on 450, probably Webb on an SX only deal, and they’ll be preparing for Cole Davies to go 450 in 2028.

You are failing to understand that outdoors he will be far more relaxed, be within his comfort zone, ride with more flow, requiring less energy to go the necessary pace. Clearly you've never felt this within your own competition days? Ever been to a track or race when you simply aren't comfortable and it seems like a huge effort and you're going slower than you think you should be?? When did he drop the anchor yesterday? He rode tight some laps when people were around him and lost some time riding too defensive. But most of the main he was fine. After 15 min he was within 1 sec of tomac. Then made a mistake in the whoops and Webb gained 3 sec on him which started the whole 4 way battle. So he started riding tight and defensive again. Has nothing to do with fitness
