There’s a reason people pipe up and sing the praises about their 350s. I find it amusing when people are searching for bikes asking others should I get a 250 or a 450? Like there’s no other option. I always equate it to Goldilocks, 250 too cold - 450 too hot - 350 just right. Unless someone is adamantly against a ktm group bike there’s another option, and it’s a damned good one.

Dude what’s the right thing to do? It’s chaos, everything is slippery, bikes racing by, flagger spotter up top probably yelling down on the radio to get Zay’s leg out of the bike assuming he’s being burned. Flagger in a panic trying to help not knowing he might be hurting. Zay probably screaming for help, not even knowing his leg was broken yet. I’m chalking this up as holy shit this sucks, just a chaotic situation, let’s not dogpile.

I don't know how much the broadcast showed him, but I was there today. I watched Eli like a hawk in qualifying, heats, main. The track looked amazing all the way through qualifying #2, but it was progressively drying out. Eli didn't look as fast in the heat as in qualifying but the track wasn't absolutely gone yet. But the sun came out for an hour plus and after the 250 main in particular you could see the track was so shiny and baked—it was 100% incompatible with a scoop tire. The age stuff is simply stupid. I don’t know why another thread is needed on this but the only thing possible is an injury or an ailment. The bike didn’t magically break. This is true...the most likely scenario is usually true and that would be something physically wrong. For example, I suppose you could get away with saying a 'bad back' acting up is not an injury? Something along those lines? Hate to think he is flat out lying, but, to me, he was smiling and laughing way too much in the press day interviews. Him saying nothing was wrong and that he was ready to go for it didn't happen at all tonight. He had Hunter right in front of him for a while and then looked like he gave up...
