Dude what’s the right thing to do? It’s chaos, everything is slippery, bikes racing by, flagger spotter up top probably yelling down on the radio to get Zay’s leg out of the bike assuming he’s being burned. Flagger in a panic trying to help not knowing he might be hurting. Zay probably screaming for help, not even knowing his leg was broken yet. I’m chalking this up as holy shit this sucks, just a chaotic situation, let’s not dogpile.

Sometime last year there was a post here about Arkansas House Bill 1465, which concerned the liability of dirtbike use on private property. Many other states are and have introduced similar language. I took this language and modified it slightly to extend the liability coverage to land owners, spectators and event promoters, as well as covering ATVs and SXS under the "off road vehicle" nomenclature. Everyone would rather have their property or the value of their property back, the problem is that by the time the lazy ass cops get around to making an arrest, the thief has already sold your shit for drugs or fucked it up for no reason other than they can. Good luck getting that restitution.

Courts that will punish people defending themselves and property, but not the shitbags committing the crimes themselves. Lol what? Do you think riders actually live at the stadiums or something? Denver is his home race, just like Seattle is for the hill brothers(who live the next state over) and Kitchen etc. That’s just kinda how it works….

while I do not disagree with your sentiments about the younger generation, Kenny would have likely finished in at least 3rd in the championship last year (vs. 5th), and would be leading the championship this year if he didn't have to kick-start his bike and pray when it is hot. On an amateur level, I say kick away, but when SX and MX titles are on the line, those seconds (or in some cases minutes) kicking the bike are a lot more costly and brutal to watch.

Since Ken jumped on the Suzuki, how many points has he lost from the bike not starting after a crash or a tip over? Would he be leading the championship now? If there is one thing they should not leave alone, it is the kick starter.

Weege has a hard time not discussing his contempt for race fans, it slips out all the time, that he thought they were too dumb to figure out TV is just one example. I don't know how much the broadcast showed him, but I was there today. I watched Eli like a hawk in qualifying, heats, main. The track looked amazing all the way through qualifying #2, but it was progressively drying out. Eli didn't look as fast in the heat as in qualifying but the track wasn't absolutely gone yet. But the sun came out for an hour plus and after the 250 main in particular you could see the track was so shiny and baked—it was 100% incompatible with a scoop tire. Bro faced a rhythm so hard i can’t believe he rode away from it and yall are saying he “just quit”. I genuinely think Chase doesn’t enjoy racing or riding dirtbikes and is burnt out, which may lead to a lot of things he does BUT pulling off last night was not something I have any judgement about
