My next tool purchase is going to be a better torque wrench. The one That I have now is pretty old and has been borrowed and probably isn't as accurate as I'd like? Better safe than sorry I suppose. What's a good all around torque wrench for moto? Is it worth it to invest in 2 different sizes or will a good 1/2in cover the lower #?
I rarely use my 1/2. Precision instruments make great torque wrenches.

Here is my setup in my shed. This is for Moto and feral house maintenance. I have all the necessities to do general Maintenance and some chassis work, after that I’m more comfortable having someone else do the work. When I’m going to the track I bring the red tool box, fluids, and the fender bench.

Now if you are into vintage tools I.e. 1900-1940 I’ve got some cool stuff that I inherited from my great uncle.

Let’s see the vintage stuff. I’ve got some older stuff, I have 2 vintage underwater cordless drills, some old block planes and a wind chime my Dad made with his Dads “old” tools.

A 1/2 inch isn’t going to work down in the lower range for a lot of the small bolts on a dirt bike. I got this 3/8 0-25 lb ft from Snap On. Good stuff.

Unless you use one a whole lot I would avoid the digital ones

Here are my favorite vintage tools that were easily accessible, I have some older stuff buried away and some awesome vintage surf and fly gear. I might start a non moto thread later. The home made t handle (from great uncle) and the Mitchell 300 (my dads chiLdhood reel) Are probably my two favorite items. The socket set isn’t that old but my uncle hand made the box

GregDVT with the Bonney ratchets and Plumb hatchet! I would give that Plumb some TLC if you want to part with it...just sayin’

Cleaned this old one up and put a new handle on it. That in itself takes some attention to detail to get a good fit and no slop. Every one I do I get a little bit better. I always keep my eyes peeled for old name brand US made tools.

Bit and brace?
Imagine doing stuff with that?

When I was "aircrafting" ÷ or - might be .010". Might be .005"? Less?

Well, they were less than mach back then.

My box isn’t very ocd. I would love to get organized with inserts but all my stuff is mismatched anyways. My favourites are the old snap on ratchets ones a 1940s 3/8 “Ferret” with no chrome as apparently they needed it for the war effort. The other one is a “Midget” which is cool but it’s a 9/32 drive so even with an adaptor to fit 1/4 sockets I never use it. I can’t stop buying old quality tools so now I have like 20 ratchets and use like 3! The last pic is of a couple Herbrand 1/2 ratchets which are really cool and different.

I used it once and then bought a new one Laughing It's all metal, has a sketchy looking cord, does about ninety thousand rpm and you can see blue sparks through the vent holes. Yeah....... I'm out lol

Not a toolbox, but my 'moto' area under the 30x12 loft I just finished in my pole barn. Also have a transmission/fork/shock rebuild station that's almost finished.

I started buying Roybi one cordless tools for jobs around the houses and home improvement type work and Home Depot has so many buy one tool get one free and sales that they are easy and less expensive to acquire than Dealt or Milwaukee and do the job no problem. I had my $200 Dewalt drill fall off my ladder and hit the concrete and break the housing and they said I was out of luck and you will have to buy a new one, did the same with the $125 Ryobi and I called to see if I could buy the trigger housing and they sent me a whole new drill and told me to keep the broken one, I register everything I buy on the Ryobi and they are good about customer service.

I take pics of all my tools with list of model numbers for my insurance because if the insurance company thinks you use you tools to make a living then home owners may not cover them so I buy a separate policy that cover just my tools from air compressors to mig and tig welders bead plaster, etc etc. And I bring home something new at least once a week and my wife bans me from Home depot from time to time.

The Ryobi plant is here in town. About twice a year they open up and sell factory direct. It’s sooooo cheap, you could buy everything you have for $400. They will give you boxes of batteries for free. I hate I’m not a fan of there tools!
