Anybody have a crf250r or crf450r set up for woods, enduro, gncc, etc? If so, put a picture up. I want to get ideas for my bike for the upcoming gncc season.
I would MUCH rather get a Honda.
I like the idea of electric start on a 250 because then I can throw the wife on it down the road. Plus for a pipe and cam I could turn a 250x into a R for moto and still have the e-start.
Worked good enough for me to win the +30B class.
And this was 2012 CRF250R
Good luck

I'm at a point in my life where I want to be able to do everything well. And I thought I had that in my KTM 250sx. Killed moto, was killer in the woods.... but idk, it wasn't great mixing gas mid ride. I would never take a 2t down south of the boarder... so I'm looking to get a 4t that I can moto on of I'm tired of the 125 for a while but still have a enduro/Baja able bike too
EE bash plate, wider for more pro, Clarke 2.8 gal tank-1gal more and still good ergos, hand guards, protects fingers and levers! I'm on stock susp for now, but will send it off to FC for service in a cpl mos. oh and a rekluse is sweet. Bike came with it, great stall protection..
My 250r. Mapping change, gearing & normal offroad goodies makes it a great woods bike.
My 250x. Very capable offroad race bike with the right mods & suspension. All around fun bike to ride. Probably one of my favorites.

So funny you say this above. Been looking to put a IT250 motor with Eric Gorr porting/head work into a CRF250X chassis. If I cind the right deal on one I'm going to build it... I'll put Vforce reeds in it too... air cooled motor in a modern chassis with little weight.
Should be easy to do and a blast to ride...
I ordered the 2.7 gallon tank for my 2012 crf250r and I have a question. As I was changing the tank, I noticed there were 2 o-rings on the stock tank...The one on the fuel pump itself, and the one that sits inside of the groove on the stock tank. Do I need to put both of them into the acerbis tank, or only the one on the fuel pump?
