Here's a sneak peak of my Moto 9 Freshly painted.Flyin Kolors does amazing work.Still needs a coat of clear.If you have a helmet post it.

It's funny how styles are cyclical. For a while I looked at old custom helmets with chrome accents and flames, as cool as they were, as being cheesy. Now I see them and I get wood. It's hard to not like a properly painted custom helmet done by the hands of a capable artist.

That's how I felt once! This local kid was painting up some cool helmets and I wanted one but then I remembered I was still a complete newbie goon haha.

I will have it by the end of the week and Bob takes photos like that as to not give all of the design away.He wants you to open the box like a kid on Christmas and be blown away.

Attention whoring?Not at all.This thread was supposed to be about custom helmets.Wanted peoples opinions and for them to post what they have.Obviously you don't need to wear a helmet with hair like that.

Have been looking all over for contact info for this painter. he does NW27 lids and guys in nascar. Looks like a tagger design.

Thanks man. I like it. It fits well now that I redid the liners in it. I'm between sizes in the 6D so I had to swap the liner and cheek pads to really make it fit me. Now that it's done, I couldn't be happier.

Another super talented guy out of Michigan is Chad Harris from HCP Designs. Check out his work at https://www.facebook.com/pages/HCP-Designs/7434546254. He's done some work for us and we've always been pumped. The guy paints literally anything from helmets to full size boats. Not trying to spam here I just admire sick designs and wanted to share!

Just checked him out. He does really nice graphics and designs, I like it a lot. His art though is pretty bad, that goalie mask is a mess.

That Emig replica is awesome.I Almost had Bob do one of another Emig replica helmet I had painted back in the 90s.Shades of Gray does great work.

My helmet?The photos at the top of the thread are before the clear.It actually was sprayed with clear today.And he sent me a pic of the visor.I will upload complete pics next week.
