Time to replace my Gaernes, and I’m going with Alpinestars Tech 10s.
I wear size 11 street shoe, and a size 11 Tech 10 feels snug. The size 12 feels comfortable and borders on roomy.
Does the Tech 10 bootie or boot pack out at all after it breaks in some? I’d go with an 11, but my toes are at the end of the toe box and worry hitting a rut or putting my foot down hard in a corner would result in black toenails.
Also, the length of my Gaernes is quite a bit shorter than the length of the Alpinestars so I also worry about where my foot would be on the pegs and accidentally hitting the shifter or brake due to the extra length.

Order based on the Euro size chart and size your feet accordingly. A star and Gearne both sell size 12s but they’re actually 47/12.5 and may be too large.

I also wore size 11 Gaernes (sg10/12s)before I switched over. Ive had 6 pairs of tech 10s since(including the latest generation now).
I’ve heard the only difference between size 11 and 12 Tech 10s are the inner bootie size for what it’s worth. Don’t quote me on that
