With all the useless posts on this page I'm surprised there wasn't a thread started about Dunlop's new MX33...

Who's gonna be the first to provide feedback?

I heard this tire was exclusively tested at the JS7 compound to ensure proper sidewall resistance for scrubbing Woohoo

I thought today was possibly the release day? I don’t see anything on Dunlop’s website.

I am more interested int he MX12 as I ride a lot of sand
I ride with MX12 rear/MX3S front. I really like the MX12. Used to ride with the MX11. The MX12 is a little more narrow (yes, both tires I used are 100 wide) and you can really notice it. It's a lot easier to get into tight lines in turns.

It seems like the MX12 would have a bit more side grip compared to the MX11, is that true?

We have been on the MX12 for a few sand races and a mud race! It is a GREAT tire! We ran it one day that started out sloppy wet but turned hard packed by the end of the day and the tire still did well!

Compared 2 YZ250F’s one with the MX12 and the other with the Starcross 5 Sand at Baja last Sunday,
both riders preferred the MX12.

Try the x10 bridgestone if you prefer more lean grip If the track has a slightly harder base

Hopefully they solved the issue of chucking off the side knobs after a few hours. The MX3S is the only front tire I have seen tear off more knobs than the rear.

The MX12 is an amazing tire. I've been running it everywhere in New England this spring. This pic is from 5 mins ago and I've got over 6hrs on it and it still looks brand new. It works awesome in the sand and works fine on the harder sections of the track where the MX11 would not.

I just wish Dunlop would sell their tires with the yellow tire stickers on them

You ever run that at crow hill?
I was running the Michelin sand tire and it chunked bad at crowhill (and mx101).
I need a good sand tire ( Southwick/Wareham ) that can also crossover to crowhill...

This might be a stupid question but is there any difference between the MX33 and the MX33F front tire that came stock on my 2023 KTM? I can't seem to find the "F" tire anywhere.

Seems dumb to manufacture another tire just for that but I guess it could be. The guys at Boyesen say that they make the reeds for KTM to KTM spec and they are different that the ones you buy from Boyesen so idk I was curious

The fronts have MX33F on them and the backs have just MX33. I'm not aware of a MX33 front without the F at the end.
