05' or 06' EGP a big, big, kid fan of yours and GFI crew member gleefully brought this XXX Lg. helmet to our booth for the next fallen rider fundraiser. He told us it was yours and autographed it. (He scribbled your name.) He's a sweet innocent guy and a very hard course worker. He meant well, and I would never wish for our crew to 'look a gift horse in the mouth' or put down.
Years went by, fundraiser after fundraiser and the helmet never fit anybody. It sat on a shelf in our garage getting dusted annually.
Baja Dan a retired nurseryman and SCORE racer gave me this huge 8' Fernleaf cactus the other day and I needed something to hang it in. It's named, "Bobby Bonds Helmet". It'll look good with the MX Boot Pinata.

For the sounds of that... It's really my signature. The guy sounds like Bobby Davis or BD. He was good friends with Goat Breker, and Bobby Davis was a, little special, but I met him during Elsinore gp 02. We became friends, and he even came and lived with Goat and I for a while. He was convinced since we were both named Bobby, he was my big brother. I still to this day, hear from him a few times a year, for the past 12/13 years.

Correct. BD. Definitely knows the difference between right and wrong, and on either end of that spectrum will execute endless measures of effort to please anyone in charge. Good or bad, depending on the patience and attitude of the task influence. IMO the top 1% of event volunteers. A real heart and soul behind the scenes stepping up to some serious grunt work, like chucking all the rocks off a course over the cliff between races, or retrieving vehicles from the same course area without the aid of, "block & tackle." ~ Yeah, a Goat Jr. (Don't piss him off! He'll never let it go.)

Here's a pic. from my office wall. 2005 EGP. Task: "Squirrel catching" at the end of the mini race. "Bring these X, Y, Z, bike numbers back to these parents (Standing in front of him.) through the finish line and next race-stage crowd."
Result: 100%. Happy little Groms and happy parents = A happy spectator crowd.

Mr. Bonds, we can bet our next burrito BD will be calling soon.

Enough with the old day bench racing! Back to topic. What's your caption Sir?
