I put the Tusk oversize kit on my 450, can't beat it for the price!

Thank you very much. Took a fast peek at ebay and man that was cheap.

I think Doma has more rideable power band than Pro Circuit. Many top riders in Europe used Doma pipes back in the day

True, I will give it a shot. Have you ridden your bike since you restored it? Satisfied with it? Anything you're missing?
I haven't rode the bike yet. All tracks here in western Finland are muddy mess or frozen at the moment. It has been pretty cold weather this week and we might try to ride it with studded tires next weekend, if the weather stays cold. Otherwise we just have to wait for tracks get dry.

The biggest thing we would like to change in the bike are the front forks. Forks have been already re-valved by known suspension shop some time ago, but they still do not work as well as newer bikes. My brother who owns the bike weights only 65kg which might be part of the problem. The bike has already lighter fork springs, but forks still feel stiff in the first part of the stroke.

There are few other things that would be nice to have too. V-force reeds, new exhaust silencer, VHM or Bud Racing cylinder head and maybe carburetor swap for Keihin PWK....

Sorry it's been a while since the last update. I went to Houston for the supercross round and some vacation. Had a really good time. Can't wait to go back. And after that I've been super busy at work. Finally got som job done on the bike this weekend. It's coming along good.

First up, couldn't decide on the graphics, I got a new set of red plastics from a garage sale so I went for the TLD kit.

The subframe and airbox needed a little cleaning, probably dirt in there from 11 years ago.

Final product of the airbox all cleaned up, thinks it looks a lot better than Mxking's. Grinning

The tank also got a little cleaner. With the new graphics and shrouds mounted.

The engine also got a little makeover, the result of soda blasting and some polish.

Build in process...

I really like the cockpit, mostly because it's the same handlebar setup I've used for years and my last bike was a KTM and the CRs are so slim over the shrouds.

Got the front plate mounted.

Off to the corner of shame for this time. Can hopefully finish the project in a couple of weeks.

The idea of the white Pro Circuit/Peak kit is still very much on the table. Have the graphics, just missing a white plastic kit.

I still miss some parts to be able to go to the track, exhaust pipe, lower shock bearing and foot pegs. If any team out there needs a frame cleaner, don't call me, that part sucked!!

Future plans are white plastic kit, some sweet wheels and blue radiator hoses.

The rest of the white graphics kit. I like the look of the front fender decal. Very good job by Martynas at Motosticker.eu.
