Anyone else converting or is converting a van like so? I bought one and I love it! 23-28 mpg and everything I need!

What model van is that? Did you have to compress the forks to load up?

It’s a transit connect. I have one too and love it but I can’t quite get my bike inside but mines the passenger version.

2015 Ford Transit connect. I use my hole shot device and just have bleeders on it! It works so good!

I’ve been looking into this option for quite some time now. Did you have to put the front tire in between the two seats?

I measured my bike from knobby to knobby and compared it with the cargo dimensions on fords website, said I would be about 6 inches short. I didn’t really consider that option.

It fits bro. I have a tire lock in the middle and it works.

I like seeing this move instead of people thinking they need mega-vans/trucks all the time Smile

I really wish the Astro Van didn't get such shitty mileage for it's size or I'd be all over one.

Nice rig bro. Low gas mileage low payments. All fun no problems.

I have a Nissan NV200. (also badged as Chevrolet City Express in USA) My YZ250F fits just in there without compressing the forks. Need to put it in diagonal though. Don't think I've got pics of my bike inside it. I also use the van as my daily.

Love my Metris. I've stuffed two full size bikes in there with room to spare. People at the track are always shocked when I pull my YZ out of there. 24ish mpg average and all my stuff stays dry and secure. I don't think I'd go back to a pickup truck.

I'm wanting to go this route, but I'm having a hard time giving up having a 4x4 for access to some of the sites we visit. I ride trails more so than MX. Is something like the MX capable of getting down fire roads and such. No off-roading, but some of the roads get pretty bad. Heavy ruts and loose rocks.

It’s not quite mini-van but I have a SWB T5. Perfect for me as it doubles up as a daily too and can park it anywhere get into multi-story parking, all good.

I have a 2010 Ford Transit Connect. Hoping to get it set up a little better this winter but this is what I'm doing for the time being.

I had one back in the day and had to compress the forks and roll the handlebars back to fit my Open Class KTM in there. It was very tight.

Vans were the norm back in my early riding days (1970s). Now it's about as much practical functionality I can cram into a small space and still be comfortable. Enter mini toybox trailer 12'x7'... holds 2 bikes..

Was it really reliable, Goat? For me, it'd be just about the perfect size.

Nice setup. can you give me any details about that water tank? Where you got it? Capacity? Looks like just what I'm looking for.
Thanks

I've been following that company for awhile. Their trailers look great. How do you like it so far?

I like it a lot. Bought it new back in 2018, but was too busy to actually camp in it until this Summer. Here's some more recent pix as I was fitting a bike in for the 1st time...

Has anyone done any interior work to make it more functional for just moto? I notice that most of these I see are just throwing the bike in there and putting stuff where ever. Mine is only going to be used for moto.
