The "bomb run" at the start of a desert race was actually a stack of burning tires. Oh... and naked chicks scattered about
I use a hydraulic scissor lift stand in the garage.
I arrange my work diary to allow for a day off or an easy couple of days after a race day

local MX track a year or so ago!
The problem was…I did not KNOW that I was a in
“retro gear” night contest and was just wearing my usual/favorite summer weight AXO gear from around 2002-ish!?
Former pro racer Whispern Smith, the only guy
at the track wearing gear older than mine won, except he MEANT to be in “retro gear” wearing some of his old SX gear (and still fitting perfectly!) from the early 90’s!
I tried to play it off like “I meant to do that” except a riding buddy pointed out that I wear the same gear when it’s NOT a retro gear night too!
Oh well…that happy accident awarded a 2nd place prize of 3 nights FREE riding and a good reason to throw down on some new/current riding gear too!

1. My track warm up consists of unloading my bike and getting dressed.
2. I look forward to bench racing with my moto buds more than doing a moto.
3. My bike is worth more than my truck.
4. My knee braces are older than most riders on the track

Don't ride in the cold or mud anymore
That last crash was pretty bad. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something.
Interestingly the LS was from a Marine supplier, not Automotive, it was the best price for one over here short of buying a crashed Monaro and selling the leftovers.
