"The King" has so much style, didnt matter what he wore, he made it look badass. I remember lookin so fwd to see what killer helmet design he (or TLD) would come up with for Anaheim. Remember the helmet with the tassels? lol

I still have a few of my jerseys saved from that line:

I lost mine somewhere along the way but I loved that gear...Robbie Reynard always looked better in it and went way faster, but I rocked it at the local track for sure...!

I would have to say my favorite gear was always the 80's JT gear. Baily, Johnson, Glover and the Machine!!! Cool as hell! In the early 90's though it kinda lost its mojo I think. But man in the 80's they had thier shit rollin!

I would really like to see the new stuff in person.

Over a decade later, this SHIFT line still kicks fucking ass. I'm a minimalist, and so I like the clean look with shirts and pants that have solid colors or 2 or 3 color schemes at the most. In the photo at the bottom, I like how Emig's helmet also has the camo paint job to match his pants. The black shirt is cool and fits perfectly.

That's what I'm talking about. This THOR stuff from, say, between 2005 - 2009 was real nice. Again, it's solid colors that look the cleanest, IMO. Reed has worn some really trick THOR during his years at Yamaha and Suzuki.

2011 THOR line? It looks like my dog threw up on it.

Shift really should bring out an Emig replica set. I would buy it for sure. I prefer the clean lines so much better. That Fox stuff from last year made me want to throw up.

Any one have pictures of mc back in 2001 with the dark blue and orange no fear stuff? Or the red and yellow chrome no fear gear he wore at Anaheim? He also wore a lighter blue and yellow that was sick!! Pictures anyone?

My favorite was the Malcom Smith pants and jersey in 1990 or so. Bell Moto 5, Smith goggles, and Sinisalo boots. I looked much faster than I was.

1990's I was rockin some Green and blue AXO pants and green/blue/white AXO boots with a green/blue/red/purple tie die'd jersey while riding a CR 125, shit was so fuckin ugly it was cool. I gotta dig up a pic I had to sport some fucked up gear so my dad would quit taking pics of the wrong person lol.

The 2004 Fox 360 gear is my favourite of all time. Although the design is pretty simple, it looked really good in person and came in enough colours to suit whatever bike you rode.

I posted this in the other gear thread, but thought I would make a contribution to this one as well.

Hard to find a good pic:
I have the black/red jersey onl,y size medium. I think I wore it maybe 5 times at most
I will buy one of those helmets today-in any color. As long as its not all beat up.

I have a blue and white one that is almost brand new. It has never been worn off road and only worn on the street a few times. PM me if you're interested.

I also vote for the above gear, even nowdays when you see someone with it at the race track it stands out..
96 Fox HC forest green was also pretty bitchin.

Some of the '04 Thor gear was pretty sweet too:

Looking at gear from the '90's makes my mind melt! There were so many sets I wanted immensely!

Funny thing is I now have a pile of gear in my basement almost as tall as me from about 2000 on that I could care less about. Something about being a kid and starring at this stuff in magazines for hours just makes it so much cooler!

I love Shift gear from 97' and 98'. The black jersey looks badass, but was like wearing a sweatshirt. Fro was a bad mofo for wearing this throughout the nationals. He wore this at Troy in 97' and it is still a legendary story. T blaze, do you have that ad with Fro from 97' after he won Troy where he is sitting down pouring water on his head?

I think the 2012 Fox Covert gear is some of the best gear ever.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Team Tamm Gear
I still have one like this but it's a little to small for me now.
Still dig the knobby print.
